Be more interesting than the other guy. Seriously, learn a skill or something. Improve yourself.

You may be a great guy, a real straight shooter but there's a million other great guys out there and at least one of them can play the guitar.

Shouldn't this be in Wild West or something? There isn't really much to discuss here, it's just a Nice Guy[sup]TM[/sup] form letter.

Having nearly become a Nice Guy[sup]TM[/sup] years ago, I can safely say that they're completely full of crap, though.

Yep, nice guys TM are usually weak ass guys who are nice as a defense mechanism to not get their lily asses kicked (source: was one of those lily-assed punks)
The real nice guys are the dudes who are 250 pounds of muscle, have 7 blackbelts in 6 different martial arts, and would never, ever raise their hands against anyone

Present anecdotal account of similar situation occurring from this posters personal history. Theorize that this behavior is the inherent norm and that OP is not alone in this experience. Console OP. Insinuate that subject female is only sleeping with rival male to use him for sex and/or acquisition of objects of monetary value, and that she would use OP for the same. Suggest OP look elsewhere.

EDIT; Request OP for photographic documentation of subject female for the purposes of rating visual and sexual characteristics, for the determination of whether she's even worth it or not.

It's cool that you desire the company of a female.

It would be much more cool if any female would desire your company. Maybe you should work on that. Be cool. If you're not, become cool. Become yourself. Right now, you look like some cliche freaky scary dude with way too much dark, empty room in the headspace department. Do something worthwhile that's within your possibilities. Gym > collecting bellybutton fluff. Going for a hike or a bike ride (no blades or guns, please) > stalking females you crave or "rival males". If serious, you're already quite deformed. Fix that.

Unless you're responding to Bobular's post, I'm pretty confident that the OP is not serious. The original post is full of self mockery. Particularly when he said:

"Falsely claim that attraction is based on psychological characteristics, while omitting any mention of physical qualities."

This thread is one big intentional parody.

If it actually is Bobular you're responding to, well, I'm not really sure. It's leaning pretty heavily on Poe's Law here.
The way he ended it with "Did I follow the template correctly?" sounds like a possible way of saying "Just joking brah". Either that or its his way of lamenting how perfectly he fits into this parody.

Obligatory comment on instigating violence with Rival Male, preferably in some form of Thunder-Dome and/or Single White Female like situation. If OP refuses to utilize violence, then proceed to question the gender and sexuality of OP by accusing them of being a, quote, 'pussy', in such a manner that the moderators are not alerted. 85% chance of the words 'Beta Male' being used if thread continues past first page.
