That's a pretty damn good reason. In fact, I don't think there could be a better one.Greyfox105 said:The Unworthy Gentleman said:-Snip-
Mind asking what plans? I've assumed political. I can't help but pry. Also, I'm not sure how it messes people's lives up. As long as you have a strong sense of free will and can control yourself there should be no addiction. You are unworthy of knowing my plans
Right, now that I've gotten that out of the way...
No, my plans do not have any political element, although, if I wish to better serve my people, I could look toward such a course as a political career.
If I use any illegal drugs, ever, I will be unable to donate blood ever again.
And as for messing lives up, if you could see the people in my area, you'd understand.
There are a lot of (weak-willed) drug users in my area, and they are a hazard to anyone they are near. Not to mention thieving bastards, and little vandals.
They steal to continue their habit. It ruins their lives, and the lives of their victims, and families. At least here, it does.
Also, given the people you're surrounded by who give that example, it's understandable why you'd have that view. The people who do drugs constantly around my area are usually either complete wastes of space or are very intelligent and hard working. The people who are wastes of space were already predicted to be that before they even started doing drugs. There's still a lot of time for the addictions and criminal activity to kick in though.
