One flaw with that theory though. The whole "one clone = male, one clone = female" throws a monkey wrench into it. Because if me and my clone are supposed to be of opposite genders then it would be safe to assume that we've both developed as a male and a female human. Which means that I will, through biological probability, be naturally stronger and possibly even faster than my female counterpart. So even if we were exactly the same in every other aspect and even thought I'd still have an edge and would be the most likely winner.wordsmith said:There is a theory which applies to this actually- if your first thought upon seeing your clone is "kill it", so would it's initial thought. Your reaction time would be the same, your speed, your fighting style... every time you feint, your clone would know it was a feint, because that would be what they'd do in that situation. The fight ends when one of you has an extra bit of luck, which will be shortly followed by the other fighter getting the same luck, and you both crash to the floor in a pool of your own intestines.
It's not that im being chauvinistic here or anything really, just that if me and my female, cloned counterpart are exactly the same in every aspect aside from the physical one, I'd most likely be a better fighter than her.
Then again, if I know myself right, then she would most likely compensate for her probably inferior strength in some way. Since I certainly take steps today to compensate for situations where my strength might be inferor to others in hostile situations (i.e always carrying appropriate weaponry and knowing how to use it). Hence why the fight would be such a challenge, because she'd have my smarts and same degree of killer instinct, but she'd work under radically different conditions than I do. Perhaps even turning the situation into one where I might find myself with a knife in a gunfight.
So, as I've said, it would be a challenge to kill my female clone. But it must be done!
