Poll: oscar film awards, what are your opinion???

The oscars have of course got much critic for being too predictable and staying true to "their" type of films.
so what are your opinion of the award show and which movie you you think should have won for example...

This is an odd forum to discuss movies...

Anyway, Inception and Black Swan are my two faves this year, out of that list anyway.

Of course neither was a "safe" choice, so no way were they going to win.

I would have liked to see Inception get this, because it was so interesting and refreshingly different, but the King's Speech was the obvious choice.

How To Train Your Dragon was robbed. Friggin' Pixar, give someone else a chance for once. I had high hopes for the soundtrack, but of course it wasn't even a real contender with two Oscar-baits up there...(King's Stutter & So Cal Network)

because of all the "prettiest dresses" articles???
yeah pretty sick of those too -o- it dosnt have ANYTHING to do with the movies. unless someone makes a movie about lady gaga O.< I dont see that happening... but one the other hand, the justin bieber movie

Nahhh it was predictable as hell...I pretty much predicted everything. I'm glad Inception picked up a couple, but, yeah, as far as the big 4 are concerned (Picture/Director/Actor/Actress), I called em all. I preferred Inception to them all, so yeah, I guess that was my pick.

agree with out SO much. loved HTTYD and my opinion of TS3 is that its just a "money-maker" and was made just to please old memories. even though they made the movie quite touching (apparently.)

made me actually open me eyes then social network won best soundtrack. liked the music very much but again agree with you. Tron soundtrack should at least be nominated, daft punk did an awesome job and first time a BAND have made the music for a hole movie... as far as I heard don't sew me if Im wrong Q.Q

Okay, Toy Story 3 for best overall movie.

The Social Network for best Director (David Fincher)

Black Swan for best leading Actress (Natalie Portman)

And Inception for best original screenplay.

That's my choice anyway and well, I can hope I suppose.
