Tiger Woods vs Lance Armstrong

Armstrong: Dishonest in his profession, travels around the world raising money for cancer research. So let's say he is honest in his lifestyle.
Tiger: Honest in his profession, travels around the world getting as much ass as he can find, while married. So let's say he's dishonest in his lifestyle.

Most athletes are a-holes IMHO. I guess Armstrong though, because he cheated to get ahead in his career, which I guess you could count as stealing. I don't like either though.

Neither of them are assholes, really. Cheating doesn't make you a bad person, it means you've done a bad thing.

That said, by sheer numbers, Lance would be worse. Tiger lied to his wife, and had no obligation to anyone else. Lance lied to multiple officials, team mates, competitors but had an obligation to tell each one the truth.

Cheating as in using drugs to improve his performance? Yeah, Lance didn't actually do that, so.... Tiger by default? (unless there was some other thing Lance was getting heat for that actually happened, then prolly him)

Not to try and sound like the diplomatic one but I think it's fair to say that they're both douchebags. But that being said Tiger actually hurt people who were close to him by his actions. He affected other people's lives moreso than just cheating to win something.

In Lance Armstrongs defence the only evidence they have that he cheated is from other cycalists that have been suspended for steroid use and where offered to have the suspensions dropped if they stood witness against Lance Armstrong.

I'm pretty sure Lance Armstrong walks on the short side of life, and can't weigh much more than 160 lbs. So I think Tiger is conclusively bigger.

This thread assumes Lance is guilty of cheating in his profession. If so, link that shit son. I have yet to see anything conclusive.

With that assumption in mind, Tiger is far less of an A-hole, because he's actually earning the money he makes. I could care less who he sleeps with.

Either way, Tiger is the biggest asshole. He betrayed so many people, especially Elin and his children. Look up the shit he's pulled with his caddies, too. His father would be so ashamed of him and angry with him, it's disgusting. He is such an awful person.

Also, he isn't the man he was - look at his golf now. It's like as soon as everything came out he even hated himself. He can't play for shit now and no one respects him.

Tiger woods: I have nothing against him at all, I don't think he's an asshole, because I wasn't one of the parties in his relationships. (Though I wouldn't date him).

Lance armstrong: (Putting aside the massive fact that he's never been proven to be a cheater beyond words by other competitors), he used his cheating to do a *lot* of good. I really don't have anything negative to say about him in light of that (and because I won't actually ignore the whole "It's never been proven" thing.)

I would say neither.

Assuming Lance Armstrong did cheat, as I don't know enough to make the call either way:

Lance Armstrong cheated in a general way. While many people were hurt from his cheating, none were cut deep.

Tiger cheated in a very personal way. He betrayed his wife, the one person in the entire world he owes his loyalty to the most. His cheating cut deep.

I think Tigers cheating was worse.

Tiger's problems were all personal, when it comes to personal issues it's no contest.
Lance lied about how he won contest after contest, through his battle with cancer he used it and lied, through all the investigations he's lied every step of the way. He wiped out the validity of over 10 years of an entire sport.
I don't follow golf or biking, but I still think Lance is worse. Tiger never stood on a pulpit and preached about how you can overcome cancer and age through hard work. Is he the scum of the earth for cheating on his (beautiful) wife? Absolutely. But he never gave himself the good guy image, the media and fans did that, he was always very quiet about his personal life. Lance used his fraudulent victories to deceive the world, and (most of) the world bought it.

There is still no proof Lance cheated... I get sick when ever any Frenchmen accuses him of it since an American is beating them at there own sport.
