It depends on what company I would be in at that present time.

Just me and friends, well I definitely party as hard as possible. At a party with a reasonable amount of people I don't know or care about, then basically zilch.

OT:

Depends on mood an alcohol intake. Sometimes I just sit in the middle of a group of friends and try and get everyone talking, other times I'm sitting on the top of a lamp-post dressed as Aladdin.

Why go to parties when you could host one? I had one with upwards of 100 ppl in a house I rented with a bunch of friends. Of course I do the music: nothing but House, Dubstep, and DnB. Nothing gets a party bumpin like that music does. Went through a full keg (16 or so gallons/16.5 liters) of beer and at least 8 handles of hard liquor. Not to mention what everyone brought themselves....

I am around 5 somewhere. I'm not very wild, but I'm wild enough and usually surprise the people I know since my party personality is pretty different form my normal one. I also consume great quantities of alcohol which helps me get into the mood. I never dance, but I always manage to get a lot of interesting conversations with people I don't know. I have come to love parties with time.

I hate drinking, I'm asthmatic and possibly allergic to smokes, and I terrify women.

It depends entirely on the party for me. When I'm at a party with just my close Friends I can be up to a six or seven (at the highest, I'm not really a party person), while at a party with people I don't know I'm around a two.

If it's a party with lots of people and people I don't know I'll be the guy alone in the corner wondering why I was invited and why I came. I don't drink so that doesn't help much either. I usually leave after about an hour. I'm no fun a these parties and I still can't figure out why I'm even invited. So I'm a 0.

If it's a group of my friends I'll be hanging out making jokes and in general having a good time. Maybe 6. I'm pretty laid back and don't do anything crazy or that can be construed and partying hard.

10 years ago? Massive house parties with bunches of random people I found in nightclubs somewhere with a shit-ton of spirits and, er, questionable powders. So a 10.

Now? A few friends and a bottle or two of wine is the norm. So a very middle-class 3.

Everyone's gotta grow up/old sometime, I guess.

I love parties, as long as I'm good friends with at least one other person there. Preferably the friend-to-stranger ratio should be about 2:1, so I'm comfortable enough to be myself yet still have the chance of hooking up.
