I had to go for the Xbox, with football being pretty much my favourite thing ever, and the PS3 version of FIFA 11 being nowhere near as fluid as the 360's. That's pretty much it. Between me and my friends, FIFA tournaments are the ultimate entertainment (and dispute-settler), couldn't give that up.

Pancakes.

Because honestly, I hate playing on consoles and I'd get so frustrated I'd probably break it. And I like pancakes.

PS3 I guess, not sure why only that I don't know any one with one and it might make a change. Also would I be right is assuming there are more exclusives on the PS3 than the 360?

I don't either, I run both PS3 and PC through my monitor.
I have considered that but my monitor, while very good, has no HD-input, just VGA. I've seen a few HDMI - VGA adaptor cables but they are expensive and get a lot of negative feedback. Still, if I found a good one, it's a possibility!

Xbox 360. It has interesting exclusives (like Halo) instead of cat-eared girls and Indiana Jones knockoffs, bigger community and more comfortable gamepad (i hate Sony ones, they're designed only for small asian hands).

OP - you shouldn't have placed Wii so close to reasonable options, some people accidentally clicked it.
Gotta love Flamebait

Also, Halo may be an exclusive, but that doesnt make it interesting.

OT: I gave a Gaming PC, PS3 and a Wii, and my Favourite console would be my PS3. Still, im not sure that im a PC Gamer. Something about owning a Gaming PC doesnt automatically make me a PC Gamer.

I used to be a pc gamer, but I couldn't afford to keep upgrading my graphics card, and my knowledge of the inner workings of a pc was kinda lacking, then I had to keep switching between living with my mum and dad, and since the pc was at my dads I didn't get to go on it much anymore, and all I really ran on it was Call of Duty: United Offensive (still do to this day. Sometimes. When it works >.>), so I just stuck with the Playstation (1&2), and eventually moved onto Xbox.

If you're wondering, the pc is about 8-10 years old by now. I just don't have the money.

I already have a Wii to go with my rather high-end PC. I'd actually play the games on it if I had a TV in my bedroom.

I'd still like a PS3, though. It has a decent number of exclusives I'd like to play. But then I still have plenty of games in my backlog anyway. On both the PC and my consoles.

For me it's a bit of a toss-up between the Wii and the PS3, though I'm more inclined to say the Wii because A): I already have one, and B): every other game on the PS3 seems to be a shooter and I hate dual-analog controls for shooters with a passion.

I am a PC gamer who uses a mouse-less laptop (mostly because I kept losing the mice when I had my first laptop and besides, the touchpad is right bloody there). I play a great many FPS games (my specialty) using a touchpad and standard controls. It requires a little bit of wrist twisting at times (controlling camera, controlling character and controlling attacks)

Anyways, being a fan of FPS games, I prefer the PS3. I also find the controls comfortably familiar (for a laptop gamer anyway) to a PC.

I've never had a console. I've played with a PC for over ten years. Nearly twenty years actually, as Amiga is a PC as well. I'm one of those dicks who honestly thinks PC's are better at everything and anything, and will remind people about that when needed. As that is the gospel.

I would get a PS3 definitely. Because of Blu-ray. Because I prefer the controller over the Xbox one. Because I like it's exclusives. Because it's got more power. That's why.

PS3. There is more utility in the PS3. Though, I'd not be able to handle the controller. Microsoft -really- struck gold with the 360 controller.

12 year PC gamer here, and I voted PS3 because( I own one) it is the most versatile system. It plays Blu-Rays, it can stream ALL my content from my computer via PS3MediaServer, full 1080p PCM audio included. It has a card reader, a hard drive I can swap without voiding my warranty...it's an all in one. The other systems are not. I only own a few games on it, I bought it mostly for the video streaming. If a title, like Bulletstorm for example, is on PS3 and PC, I get PC, EVERY time. But for those few games that are fun, and I must have them, like LittleBigPlanet, I buy them.

Generation before that: Xbox. Because it let you rip CDs to the HDD to playback during gameplay.

Generation before that: N64 BABY! YEA!

If I had to pick one it would probably be the PlayStation 3, but to be blatantly honest... The Xbox and PS3 all do the same stuff, one has slightly better graphics, another has more online, one has to pay for online. At the end of the day they both play mostly the same games and you can have just as much fun on both. Although it seems that the PS3 focuses more heavily on Single Player while Xbox 360 has a better online function.

Sega Genesis, it's the superior system to all, it has blast processing and everything. Does your system have a CD addon? NO IT DOESN'T ...Unless it's the Jaguar or Turbo CD....but that doesn't have a cartridge addon! Booyah!

i'm gonna say PS3.

i had a Wii till my house was burgled and haven't bothered to replace it. so not that...

for me it was between the 360 and the PS3
alot of the 360 "exclusives" also appear on PC so for sheer diversity i'd have to go with the PS3

but, to be honest even then i really wouldn't get one.
even with "PC games Dying", which i totally don't beleive (hint: WoW has well over 10,000,000 players world wide where's the 360/PS3 version?) i will probably stick with my K/M till I stop gaming.

Pancakes is a tempting option but eggs, milk and flour are cheap, that would be TOO many pancakes.

I choose PS3 because it is the only console to come even close to matching PC standard and has the most worth-while exclusives (almost as many as PC).

The thing is though I have my PS3 plugged into the same 1080p monitor as my PC and you know I still hardly play on my PS3, in direct competition for my gaming time in the exact same space I still choose PC 90% of the time. Now PS3 is REALLY good but I'm yet to finish Uncharted 2 when I have HUNDREDS of Steam Games (from Steam sales) all laid out in that beautiful grid...
