PS3, probably - I only use my console for racing games and co-op gaming, girlfriend uses them for sports games, none of which the 360 does better.
What you're accustomed to is a very powerful thing. Funnily enough, I started out life as a PC gamer by default I suppose, (*sigh* lemmings and lode runner and zork...), but I could never get truly comfortable with a mouse and keyboard when it came to more complicated games. Technically my early experience should probably have made adjusting to consoles harder (I didn't get a console til the ps2! I also agree with hand cramp, but only in the case of the *shudder* PSP), but somehow it was the reverse. Controllers were something I clicked with instantly - they felt more organic I guess.lithium.jelly said:I guess it's a question of what you're used to. I've been using a mouse & keyboard for twenty two years, since my first Amiga in 1989. Whenever I've tried to use a console controller, after fifteen minutes or so my hands start to cramp up and they start aching quite a lot after another fifteen. Besides, I suck at games when I use one.justnotcricket said:It's interesting that you should say this, as I have the opposite view. The last time I played a PC game, I actually hooked my PS3 controller up to the computer to make it comfortable. To me, playing with a keyboard and mouse is not only incredibly un-ergonomic, but it makes me feel like I'm 'playing' Microsoft Excel. =)lithium.jelly said:I wouldn't buy a console at all, I hate the controllers with a passion. Unless there's a console you can attach a mouse & keyboard to, and most of it's games will support it.![]()
