I'm going to say consoles. The only reason is because I hate, fucking hate, moving with the keyboard. The mouse is probably better than a joystick for aiming, but nothing compares the use of a joystick for movement. I hate only being able in 8 directions (but also generally being restricted to 4), I hate having two levels of speed, annoyingly slow and annoyingly fast, I hate having to press or hold down a sprint button when I want to change my movement speed and I hate having to fuck around with them in nearly every game just so that I can get the set the way I wont. It's just a massive immersion breaker for me.

On the consoles movement is multi-directional and you can move as fast as you pretty much want without pressing or holding buttons. Because of this I can get into games much better than I would on a PC and enjoy them more. Anotehr big thing is how much better it feels to pull a trigger than press a mouse button. Playing on a PC I always know I'm pressing a mouse, no matter how good the game is. On good consoles games I stop feeling that, if only for a short time.

I will admit that FPS look better and (sometimes) have better support on the PC. Free online and mods are also great, but all these are pointless if I don't like the controls.

I like that "PCS!!!!!!!!!!" gets more gratuitous exclamation points than "CONSOLES!!!!" does. It somehow seems appropriate.

Also, I kind of wish I could have a mouse to aim and a thumb stick for movement. That would be the best of both combined.
I see a lot of PC elitists, but I don't see so many console elitists, so I gave PCs more exclamation points. That, and Korten12's point.
I like how most of you are just trying to keep this thread from exploding even though everyone seems to agree so far. I'm only asking this because I'm working on a blog post about it, and I want to gauge this section of the internet.
