OT: No! It is disgusting and you shouldn't do it. I actually avoid pools with large numbers of children because that is so gross. If I'm in a pool, and I need to go, I fucking hold it until I can get out and find somewhere to go to the bathroom.

Don't remember anything specific but I can't imagine not having done it when I was a kid, wouldn't even consider it now though. Knowing other people probably do it where I sometimes go to swim doesn't bother me much either, I'm pretty sure there a chemicals and cleaning systems in place to combat this.

I don't even use hair gel if I know I'm going to be going swimming later, so no I don't. If it's the open sea and I'm really bursting then I probably would, it makes such little a difference as 98% of pee is water anyway.

It's kinda disgusting but that doesn't stop me from pissing in the pool if I need to. If it's a big piss then I'll make my way to the bathroom, but if it's just a little tinkle then I'll just go where I stand/sit/float.

I pee in the toilet. Occasionly if I am nowhere near a toilet, I hold it in OR find a nice wooden area to pee at.

interestingly enough, not that any of you care, but I can't pee underwater. I don't know what it is I just can't.

So obviously I've never peed in a pool. I also don't care if other people do it because if they are in a position to pee they're usually in the pool them self and that means that all their sweat dirt and body oils are already in the pool, and frankly that is more gross then anybody's pee.

I really don't see the harm in it.
Sure I do every once in a while. Most people may consider it disgusting, and I often do get out of the pool out of respect for those people, but if you're disgusted by diluted salt water mixed with ammonia then it's you're own fault.

Although it is rather humorous to see so many people react so strongly against a harmless mixture.

As someone who likes to swim underwater a lot on holiday when I'm in the pool, I think it's pretty gross.

Seriously, if anyone I knew ever peed in the pool, I probably wouldn't talk to them for the rest of the holiday.

The ocean is another story.... I'd give you a dirty look, but I'm pretty sure the percentage of people who piss in the ocean is much higher.

I am amazed with the amount of people voting yes, but how few are actually willing to admit it.

On the matter though, no, I do not and I don't like the possibility that someone does. It doesn't disgust me as much as someone else here since it's a small drop in a large pool with a lot of cleaning chemicals. I still wont consider the thought of it anything but disgusting in any case.

Yep. I ain't getting out of the pool, going through the showers and getting dry just so I can pee and go jump in the pool again.

When there are toilets next to the pool though then I'll use them.
