Sex in the shower is different. Why? Because I have no problem having sexual fluids on my skin.
What the bloody hell is the difference?!
One is pure waste and the other is for procreation?

Essence of life and shit
Flimsy argument is flimsy. :p
It all boils down to disgusting secretions from disgusting animals. If all that nastiness that comes out of genitalia is fine, then why the fuck is pissing in the shower, which washes off really easily evil and unacceptable. I DON'T SEE THE LOGIC AT ALL!
Soap doesn't kill off pee in the shower.

You gotta bleach that shit.
And the cum and other disgusting fluids just disappear by magic, right?
HELL FUCKING YEAH

But pee is like 10 times stronger or something

Then why not avoid... you know... ANY OF IT BEING IN YOUR SHOWER?
Again: absent logic is absent.

The shower is getting flushed while you pee, what could be cleaner.
Urine is already sterile to begin with so you don't have to really worry about germs.
The only time I could see any real hestitation is if the drains backed up and it takes a couple second to flush--like my shower.

Seriously, why would you not pee in the shower?

Don't want to pee on yourself? Don't pee on yourself.

Meh, when you're hung over as fuck or just not inclined to give a shit, I see no issue with it. Plus someone told me that in prisons some folks pee on their feet to get rid of tinea and stuff like that. I have no idea of its truthfulness or effectiveness, but there you go
Hmmm, according this pissing on your feet probably isn't going to clear up any fungus you may have, and likely wont help your foot odour either.

Ain't no germs in urine, folks. None. At all. You could drink piss from someone else and it wouldn't make you sick. That's not to say that you can drink urine all the time, because it does have various acids and chemicals and whatnot in it, but a little pee in the belly won't hurt you (barring your squeemish urge to vomit, but that's just on you).

And let's not forget, public pools are full of pee, as is the ocean. It's unavoidable unless you never swim, so yea. Get over it, and let loose in the shower (or bath) if you want. It's completely harmless.

I go to the loo before I get in the shower. Tends to nip that problem right in the bud. On the rare occasion I do have to go while showering, aim for the drain.

I just read every post in this thread...the things I do instead of homework.

Anyway yes I pee. Plus I'm pretty sure most people masturbate in the shower as well, so really we all do gross things in the shower it's just best not to think about it.

Eww ok you made your point with the watersports analogy (im NOT into that), in retrospect i probably should have seen that coming ><

OT since i realized i didnt give my answer: did it sometimes when i was a teen, kicked the habit when in boarding school (the lads that did do their business in the showers next to everyone...well we would know xD and nope other guys certainly were not cool with it), and then in uni tried to be a classier kinda guy and never did it despite some drunken temptations, not to mention feel its disrespectful to go to someones house, use their shower, and well, yeh, just not very cool.

I pee in the shower almost weekly. Sure the stink of the pee turning to steam is bad, but it only lasts a few moments.

I do, I mean is it really worse than the other shit I have on my body? No, not even close. I try to aim for near the drain, though, to be nice, and I don't do it if it's someone else's house.

Urine doesn't exactly wash-away with water that easily, keep peeing there on a daily basis and over the course of a week you'll start seeing more and more stains occur.

So yeah, if you scrub out your shower area once a week (or even fortnight) then go for it...just aim for the drain to minimize stains.

I just finished watching tonight's Tosh.0, and he featured a video series of guy who anonymously films himself urinating on every possible surface in public restrooms. Door handles, toilet seats, left-behind cleaning supplies, even the toilet paper and paper seat covers (diabolical!). Just something for all you "EEEEEW!" people to think about. Sweet dreams! ;P

Sooo, after watching that AMAZING video, I have to ask the women in the audience a question. If you pee standing up, does it really go backwards?
THIS! Whether you pee in the shower or not is irrelevent until this question is answered!

I pee in the shower, it's basically going down the drain anyway. it's not that gross, it's just pee. After all, the dirt, sweat and other bodily/non bodily substances clinging to your person goes on the floor too, I see no harm in adding a bit of dirt if there's shampoo going over it anyway. showers are meant to clean (and relax, I do love me some peace and quiet in the shower, water trickling away in the absence of light.), and no one is ever clean going in.Most of the pee gets washed away, and what remains is just as dirty as the bit of dirt, the remains of shampoo etc.

Peeing in a bath is only acceptable if you then leave the bath, sitting in soiled water is kinda gross, seeing as long term exposure to pee makes you a raging mutant, and the only cure for that is a banana. *ahem*
seriously, don't pee in a bath you have to sit in.

(I thought taking a shower is more common than taking a bath, it seems a lot of people are talking about bath. do you have them together? in this house they are separate, mhh. This is intriguing. Cleansing rituals.)
I think it's probably a bit more commong for the shower to be over the bath as a space saving kinda deal, ast least here in the UK I think it is, I've very rarely seen the two seperated and eprsonally find it more convenient to have both in one unit. Then my bathroom can be smaller and more enjoyable rooms can be larger.
My parents house is quite large tbh.

The bathroom is the room of peace and solitude in your home. there's nowhere as relaxing as that room (in a house). In other rooms there's all sort of distractions, kids, parents, technology. A bathroom has no such things (only sanitation). it's the perfect place to just sit and think about stuff. The room of peace. That'll go on the door when I get my own house.

I don't know what's supposed to be wrong with this, I do it all the time and don't even wash my hands afterwards.
Why? Because I'm Evil! :D

When I get my own place with my partner the bathroom will be for relaxation, sex in the shower and/or bath, and playing Pokemon on the crapper.

Nothing beats catching a legendary in a standard pokeball whilst you take a shit.
