Dear poll maker, why the hatred for cider? Its the only reason i can think of for not putting it in the poll. I am saddened.
Ideally, I drink whiskey, brandy, or liqueurs. However, I'm a penniless student, so I'll usually drink lager (ideally Fosters, or Carling), or cider (though only good, tangy, crisp stuff like Rattlers, Bulmers or Magners - Strongbow basically tastes of cat piss 
). But when I can afford it, then whiskey is much better .

I dislike alcohol. Therefore, I choose none of them. What's wrong with a good Root Beer, anyway?
Well I guess this depends:
*Am I just trying to enjoy some company and talk with people? Lagers & Stout
*Am I trying to get drunk or buzzed to hit up a club with people? Vodka
*Am I sitting in my study with other fellow millionaires having an armchair discussion making fun of poor people and minorities? Brandy
*Am I insane? Grain Alcohol

My parent are very involved in alcohol, so that might have rubbed off on me. The first stuff I drank was their left over wine when I washed the dishes.
Currently my favorite drinks are either Rum and Coke or a really, really dirty martini.

Any liquor is fine for me. Most of the time when I get drink I'm planning on getting drunk, and Drinking is a Means to an End. And I don't see the point of taking 15 minutes to drink a beer "To Get Socially Lubed Up" when you can just take a shot and be done with it. Granted you'll have to pace more carefully but I just prefer to take shots over beer.
