I really like wine, especially a nice white wine like a Moscato. I feel like the drunkenness achieved with wine is more pleasant than the drunkenness from beer or hard alcohols. I'm not sure why that is, but it just feels that way to me.

Cider, but the nice ones are expensive so I just go for a bit o' bitter if I'm drinking to get drunk. Goes down very well indeed.

I'll drink almost anything, really... But instead of listing them all, I'll just say my favourite, which is Rum. Specifically, Coruba, a traditional Jamaican rum sold from New Zealand, who have it imported from Jamaica. Even more specifically, the Original Coruba, which is darker as opposed to their more recent "Gold" Coruba.
It's sweeter than other Rum's, and whenever I actually have the money, I'll buy it and have it straight. Geez that stuff is tasty... :D
Like I said above, Coruba is made in a more traditional way, too. It's very, very close to the rum that pirates would have been drinking. :p

For your other questions...
I'll have a couple beers after a hot day with friends, perhaps, but for the most part I drink with friends before heading out on the town. Even so, I'll stay away from "goon" ("goon" is that really, really cheap wine that a lot of Uni students get. I hate that stuff...) and most really cheap drinks - if I don't have much money to re-stock my alcohol collection, I'll get Port. It's about $7-$10 for relatively good quality 700ml Port (good enough to drink, at least. The port that is cheaper than $7 is terrible, too). Since I only really drink before heading out on the town, I try to make sure that what I'm drinking at least tastes good, or I may not drink at all.
I do not have a drinking problem. I've only been really, properly drunk 3 times in my life. The rest of the time, I'll get to tipsy-almost-drunk and stop drinking for a while, or for the rest of the night. Except for those 3 other times, I know when to stop.

EDIT: When actually at clubs, I'll try to stay away from drinking too much, seeing as how ridiculously expensive drinks at pubs/clubs/bars/etc. seem to be. If I do drink, though, it'll either be a shot of Tequila with friends (no salt or chaser for me, thanks ^_^ ), or a Black Russian. Mmm...

I very rarely drink (maybe 4 times a year), but when I do, I drink Dos Aquis Boone's Wine. It's a very cheap but very flavourful wine.

I voted "Draughts, Lagers, or Stouts (Finer Beers)" and then realized you listed all lagers as "finer beers," as well as stouts and any type of beer available on tap, but left any type of ale that isn't either a stout or poured from a tap off the list of finer beers. Shame, shame; you do know that almost all of the cheap American swill is a form of lager, right? It just means the beer was brewed cold and fermented at the bottom of the barrel.

OT: I like ales -- especially a good Imperial Stout. It takes a really high quality lager, on the other hand, for me to drink one of those outside of a party or a restaurant with a crappy beer list. The other drink that I really like is whiskey, preferably Scotch whiskey. I'm on good terms with vodka, rum, and plenty of other hard liquors, but Scotch is my personal favorite. I picked the decent beer option because I drink a lot more beer than hard liquor.

Mixed Drinks/Cocktails.

If I'm going to spend the money they charge in bars for alcohol, then I want it to taste good.

I drink bourbon, but normally it is just one glass (I mix it myself) a fortnight.
I have never been drunk and I never plan on being drunk.

Gin & Tonic. But it needs Bombay Sapphire, which is expensive. And one needs to be in relatively warm environs in order to fully savour it.
Failing that, beer is nice.

It all depends. In highballs, I like rum. I also like it straight but that hardly ever happens. I'm also partial to whiskey that isn't Crown Royal to drink straight, and brandy/cognac. Vodka is good mixed, but I can't drink it straight, even the "good" vodka.

Usually at the bar, we'll drink pitchers of Alexander Keith's. I find it the best "macrobrewery" beer. I'm not too familiar with microbrewery beer, but my friend had Dead Guy Ale at his place once and it was pretty good.

I also laugh at my friend who thinks Carlsberg is the pinnacle of beer, and always compares everything to Carlsberg.

"Carlsberg this and Carlsberg that. This beer we bought is not as good as Carlsberg! Carlsberg has the crisp taste I like. I love European beers like Carlsberg!"
