It really depends. If it's short and tasteful, by all means. When I say tasteful, it doesn't have to be something that Jesus would say. Just nothing super-offensive. And short, I mean like a simple quote, not short as in a few seconds of animated gifs...

Many people use them in a similar manner to avatars. That's what an avatar is for. You don't need some generic message at the bottom of all your posts. It loses the sincerity. If you have something you want said in all of your posts then say it. Signatures are a waste of space in my books.
Though I always sign my posts like so.

Wouldn't be a huge issue if they did, might even be nice. But I think its a bit cleaner to not have a bunch of anime banners at the bottom of every post.

No, they're just annoying and full of idiocy, and not the ironically brilliant kind 4chan has on occasion, just the petty youtube comments kind.

Also, I'm not a search bar enforcer for the most part, but this topic has been done several times before.

It wouldn't be so bad if it you were just allowed a few hundred characters of normal text, giant flashing banners are obviously out of the question.

On an unrelated but relevant note, putting more options than is absolutely necessary in your polls should be a bannable offence.
