I have a cat. His name is Shadow. He meows too much, eats everything in sight, sleeps all day, then goes out all night, but I still love him.

That cat looks suprosingly like my old cat, she was about ten when my dad had to put her down, real downer since I grew up with that cat as sad as it sounds

One Black Labrador called Ozzie, he's a sweetheart, but he drove me insane until I moved out. He would constantly steal my place on the sofa and steal my bed, making me lie on the floor. Little shit.

I have one Rat Terrier named Buttons. Silly name, I know. I was about eight when I got him so that's the best name I could come up with.

Why yes, they ARE adorable. ^^

And not only that, these little guys are great dogs for the hunt (pursuing foxes or badgers into their burrows). Also, they're good as guard dogs, too... they may not seem like much, but they're fast runners, headstrong and tenacious, and their bite is considerably stronger than that of a German Shepherd.
Well, I guess it's true what they say about good things coming in small packages.
What breed is that? I don't think I've ever seen one of them before.
Here in Germany they are called 'Dackel' (or 'Teckel' if we're talking about a hunter/tracker). I looked up the English term, but it's a German word still: 'Dachshund' (translates to 'badger dog').

Really? Well, that's surprising. I've never seen a dachshund that looked like that before. Over here they tend to look more like this:

Two dogs...

<= they can both be seen in my avatar. One's a Golden Retriever (named Bilbo) and the other an Alsatian (named Sam).

I have two Olde English Bulldogges, named Sienna and Chelsea. I love them to death. x3
Aren't English Bulldogs just the best? I love my one and a half year old Angus. But I think Olde English Bulldogs are different from plain English Bulldogs. Right?

Holy shit. At time of writing, cat and dog are literally neck and neck.
I own dogs. Two of them are called Gabe and Tycho, one's called Yahtzee, two are named Schmoopy and Elamous, and their respective dog-girl-friends have no names that are of importance.
A lot of dogs, you may be thinking.
Well, yes.

Oh yes, we have those little guys, too - there are (at least to my knowledge) 4 main varieties/strains/breeds of dachshund...
- the ones to be seen on your picture, with very short, smooth fur
- the ones on my picture - looks fluffy, but the fur really is more... wiry, I guess
- ones with short, firm fur
- and then there are ones with a really thick, long, fluffy coat of fur, mostly preferred as pets as opposed to hunting dogs
