I guess either Final Fantasy IV, VI, or Chrono Trigger. Earthbound is another great one, but it's too different from the others to "represent" them.

FFIV basically kickstarted the major storytelling in JRPGs, FFVI perfected it, and Chrono Trigger is just great.

I'm not sure how much 10 euros is in Canadian but I'd say FF7 or Dragon quest 8, if JSRPGs (Japanese Strategy Role Playing Games) count then Disgaea all the way! DISGAEA FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not sure how much 10 euros is in canadian either, but as I'm working in Pounds Sterling (£) 10.00 GBP = 16.3740 CAD should do it (according to the currency converter).
Oh well I THINK a used copy of Disgaea would fall under the category in that case... Seriously, it's a MUST PLAY... I've been a gamer since age 3 or five and out of the thousands of thousands of games I've played... My fave's gotta be Disgaea!

Kingdom Hearts 1+2 I would hope.

A live action RPG with a quite intricate storyline once you break the crust of it.

Going to go with FFVI or Chrono Trigger on this. I don't even get into jrpgs anymore really and I could still pick up and enjoy either of those right now.

FF6 or Chrono Trigger. Flip a coin. I think FF6 is just a little bitty bit better, but that's like arguing between a perfect Carolina overstuffed pulled-pork sandwich and a rack of perfectly-smoked ribs with a Kentucky bourbon-based BBQ sauce. You're gonna be satisfied either way.

And the results are in:

Grandia 2. |||
Tales of Vesperia ||
Chrono Trigger ||||\
Final Fantasy IX |
Final Fantasy IV ||
Final Fantasy VI ||
Rogue Galaxy |
Xenosaga |
Final Fantasy X |

The winner here by a clear 3 votes is Chrono Trigger. I will play it and write a review of it and the genre soon.
