Just curious...

How many piercing do you have, if any, and where are they?
Did you get them when you were younger or have you recently acquired them?
Do you want to get more?

For me: I have 4 piercings, all in the lobes of my ears, which is pretty boring. I plan on getting another three at least; two in my ears and one in my lip.

So escapists, do tell!


EDIT: Wow...I didn't expect so many people to be against piercings. I honestly thought it would be the other way around. But, for future reference, there is no need to apologise for saying you don't like a certain piercing, or any piercings in general. It's your opinion so don't apologise for it, you are entitled to it.

None for me, I'd rather put holes in things other than myself. I don't mind them on others though, they have their benefits... the most heavily pierced person I know has over 50...

I think the same about piercings and tattoos.
They are for people who don't have enough personality by themselves.
I don't need them, I don't want them.

No offence meant. Some people do look OK with them, but still.

I don't have any. I can't really say that they're the sort of thing I've ever found particularly attractive, and I've never wanted any myself. For people who like them and want to have piercings that's fine, but they're just not my cup of tea.

I don't have any piercings, since it'd mean I'd miss one opportunity to donate blood. You see, if you get a piercing you have to wait three months extra before you give blood again, and a vampire fetishist like me couldn't stand to be away from the blood banks for that long.

A piercing wouldn't look good on me at all. A tattoo however I'm not that objected against, provided it's a small and tasteful design that means something to me.

On the opposite sex however a piercing can be pretty sexy. Not too many of them of course. I have a thing for the whole alt/rock look.

Nothing on me. I think they look stupid, honestly, not trying to be mean, but that's just the way I feel.

Nothing wrong with an earring or something like that, but to have your nose/lip/brow/bellybutton pierced is not my idea of pretty. Personal preference, don't hate me for it.

Worst is the tongue, but that's my nephew's fault. His got infected, and he had puss seeping into his mouth 24/7 for more than a week...

None. I'm a man and don't really see their appeal (in either gender). I'm OK with pierced lobes, but the rest just seems silly.

On the other hand I would like a pair of Potara Earrings so I could fuse with someone. Nah. I'll just stick to the Fusion Dance. FFFUUUSSIIOONN...HAAAA!

No. Multiple piercings look silly, as do you about any piercing other than the ears.

One of my sisters had her nose pierced recently, and my brother followed her around for a while singing "the wheels on your house go round and round", and asking when the first baby was due and whether she knew who the father was :-D

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand why people always give the "I don't know why you'd get a piercing/tattoo" response. It's just a personal taste thing- like dying your hair, or wearing clothes in a certain style or colour.
I understand it's not particularly original and not everyone's cup of tea, but surely people should just accept that sometimes, you want a bit stapled purely because you feel like it.

I have 4 piercings: both ears, which I had done when I was 6 or 7, my bellybutton, which I had done when I was 13 or 14 and my tongue, which I had done when I was 21. I probably wouldn't get anything else pierced, except maybe an extra ear piercing. I like the fact that the majority of my piercings can be easily covered if I don't want them on show.

I also have a tattoo on my stomach, which was my 18th birthday present from my Mum. I would definitely like more, but it's taken me years to come up with a design, as I think tattoos are a massive commitment for which you should prepare thoroughly.

None and I'm not going to get any. Some people find piercings cool and attractive. I do not. I simply have a different taste than those people. I don't like tattoos either.

But I accept that others do like it, and if that's what they like, they can go nuts. It's their body, not mine, so I don't have a right to tell them what to do with it.

I lllllike piercings. i myself got only one helix till now. Have to wait till my good friend and piercer is back in town. Can't cheat on the guy who penetrates you with pointy metal.

My best (f)friend got rings all along her ear, and i think multiple pierced ears look just great(have to be very light rings, no one likes overstreched holes).
A nice ring through one side of the nose is very cute too.

Only thing i cant really stand are septums , ya know those things

and eyebrowpiercings are such a...90's techno thing.

As long as its not too much metal in the face its alright.
One in the nose, one in the lips, perhaps the tongue, thats enough.
well a doublering is ok too.
On the rest of the body it can make some nice accents. A ring here, a dermal there. Yup why not?=

I have none, but I like them on girls. The girl I've been seeing for the past few month as a bunch on her ears, two lip rings (that she doesn't wear all that often) as well as a snakebite peirceing.
