Ahoy matey! How do you feel about pirating? I have done it some, but I am trying to stop in fear of getting caught. Do you think it is wrong to illegally download things, or do you think it is wrong that companies that sell games/ music/ movies have really high prices for some products?

Pirating is nice, but ilegal downloading is not.

Unless you download something that is extremely overpriced or just not availible in stores anymore.

I've probably pirated about £500 worth of stuff. There are people where who have done more.
However. I have a rule: Do not pirate games. Especially indie games. They need that income to survive.

Its easy to not get caught.

I only really pirate games if they aren't sold anymore but I'm usually too lazy to do that.

And if I pirate music I always by the albums if I like it enough, otherwise I won't bother.

I only do legal pirating, between the hours of daylight. However I do illegally download.

I dont understand why someone would do this. A person can work for years on a product and some person comes along and just gets it for free ? Thats not fair to anybody and you can argue that its is.

I have folders in my browser bookmarks to organise all my favourites. One of these folders is called "Shiver Me Timbers" and contains all sites related to piracy.

I have a folder in My Documents where all my downloads go, I named it "Booty"
