I hated Wall-E but I am yet to see UP and I heard good things about it.

Cars may have been a little iffy, but Up is amazing- it made me cry. And WALL-E is, by far, my favorite Pixar movie. So, honestly, I think Pixar is doing just fine.

Up is a fantastic piece of cinema and since that is their latest I say they're getting better. Sure Cars wasn't that great but neither was Godfather part 3 and we don't give Francis Ford Coppola too much crap for that. And since Cars we've had Wall-E and Up and those were fan-freaking-tastic.

Nope. I didn't like Monsters Inc. and the Incredibles, but all of the other ones I have seen have been great.

Cars is far from my favorite, but the characters were colorful and diffrent.

Finding Nemo was actually pretty funny when I first watched it
and

Toy Story obviously was one of Pixar's best movies and I haven't seen Wall-E yet.

Up was one of the best movies I saw in 2009, and that and Wall-E really tugged at the heartstrings. They're getting better, I think, as Pixar are exploring newer, more profound themes.

Getting better, Up! was a properly amazing film. Had me entertained from start to finish. They had a bad spot after Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc though. With shit like Cars and Ratatouille.

Their shorts are always too funny though. Partly Cloudy is shown before Up! and its genius

The only ones that didn't measure up were Cars and a Bugs Life to me.

Otherwise all masterpieces.

Up made me cry.
My thoughts exactly. Pixar movies have always stayed with me while other movies have just kind of passed on. Except for those two. And I actually think that WALL-E and Up were the two best that Pixar's made.

So yes, they have always stayed good, but I think they're starting to hit their stride and we can only expect better movies from them to come. Especially since they're going back to their roots this coming summer.

first of all. i liked up. but cars was not really a good story, nor very funny. i don't get any compassion for hudson, and i knew what was gonna happen after watching 5 seconds of every chapter.

that's why.

well to be honest. all the classics were great, and they still are, but i think cars is their worst movie ever, wall-e was kinda awesome. the only i thing in up i really laughed at was the boy scout.

No, they go up and down a bit now that they have more people than Lasseter in charge of their films.

So far Cars and Ratatuoille are the weakest ones for me, but that's still a very relative term. If Other animated films could get close to Pixar's worst it would be nice.

Also, the last two have been WALL-E and Up! They are categorically getting better based on those.

I personally love Pixar, they're my favourite movies, alongside movies that Tim Burton as involved in (except Beetlejuice, couldn't get into that...).

Wall-E is my favourite of their works, followed by Toy Story 2 and The Incredible. Up was a solid piece of work, so no, I don't think they're in decline. Toy Story 3 also feels like it was made for my generation (seeing as how they aged Andy and he's been roughly a year younger then me in each movie).

I don't think many other companies would do that, and hence why I like them :)

I haven't seen Up and Toy Story 2, but I have seen the rest. So far Wall-E is the one I like the most. Oh wait, The Incredible is first. They need to make a 2:nd Incredible movie. >.>

Apart from Cars and Toy Story 2, I love all the Pixar films.

So I would say they are about the same really.

Up was an amazing film. It almost made me cry, (which is hard to do with films), but it also made me awestruck (with the scale of the effects!), and I haven't been so attached to a character since I watched Toy Story, (gotta love Woody and Buzz!)

Toy Story 3 looks like a huge risk for them. I've seen some clips of the film, and I was really shocked at what happens,
(but I lol'd when:
they reset buzz! XD)

The reason why pixar are better than dreamworks:

I did love kung fu panda but aside from that they just aren't as good.

Wall-E was great and Up was even better, Pixar can do no wrong these days as far as I'm concerned.
