Poll: Pizza vs Hamburger

I like them both but, for me I'd have to go with pizza.

Detroit-style. Sauce on top, cheese underneath w/ toppings stuffed in the cheese. Thicker crust too.

Either that or stuffed pizza (Chicago-style).

Doesn't the sauce just burn? (I'm English so I've never had this). Pizza all the way though, the place down the road does an awesome ham and mushroom calzone. Calzone; the Italian pastie!

I think it was in an episode of King of Queens where a burger company comes out with the 'leaning tower of pizza-burger' Something like a 3 patty burger with a pizza base, yea, ill take that thanks

Check this link out, it accurately desribes the pizza, but the picture definitely is not the pizza in question (as Detroit-style is square). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detroit-style_pizza

EDIT: It's only recently that I've had to refer to it as a Detroit-style, however. I go to school in Kentucky and they don't know what I mean when I say "square pizza."

That really is a hard one I had a theory that the Mods hated VS polls but of course the topic as about pizza and hamburgers so I doubt there are fanboys of food and so therfore I doubt this can start a flame war.

Pizza. It's far more flexible than a burger, but obviously burgers are decent when done right.
