Poll: Playing as the bad guy

I don't mind playing as the bad guy but in a lot of moral choice games the bad guy options are sooooo incredibly stupid and cartoonish I would never pick them...The Kotor games are especially guilty of this. Because of that I'm usally the goody two shoes in moral choice games but I would definitely love to play a bad guy sometimes.

The way I see it, if the game completely calls for being "evil," I will play it as such, and most likely have fun with it. However, with the increasing amount of games featuring said "moral choice" mechanic, I generally find myself playing the good character, since I try to be a generally/genuinely nice guy. But again, this never stops me from playing a game like those of the GTA series, where immoral is a built in mechanic.

Well, personally, in games such as Fallout, Fable, and KotOR, I play as the good guy first. Then, I make sure I play as the bad guy.

I love both sides. Perhaps I've got schizophrenic likes and dislikes in games, but even though I generally like being the good guy and choose him over the bad guy, I sometimes genuinely enjoy the evil portions of a game more than the good ones.

I love these moral choice games. It is so sexy and fun to be the bad sexy one.

I would love to see more games try this with popular nostalgic game characters. Why not be Donkey Kong and throw the barrels at Mario for a change?

It's really tough to be neutral in games nowadays, the moral choice BS is going down to either reading the orphans to sleep or slitting their throats. But Fable 2 is vastly improved with the screams of every innocent as they flee from your murderous form. XD
