Yes I need help, I am stuck for what game I should get. I do have a few ideas but with 1200 points I can only get one. Any suggestions for a game to get?

The games I want are listed in the poll but if there is anything special you may think I'm missing out on then I would take that in too.

I literally cannot say enough good things about Cthulhu Saves the World. A very funny old-style RPG which actually plays fantastically well, it's a very good game design hiding behind the whole Cthulhu gimmick.

If that's not your sort of thing then I must say, I've not tried most of the list but Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is really good fun.

I'll take a look and get the trial, it's not something I saw originally but I'll give it a go.

I can't see the poll. :(

I second Cthulhu Saves the World though.

I didn't really like Scott Pilgrim.

EDIT: Can see poll now. I recommend Beyond Good and Evil.

I've only tried Beyond Good and Evil HD, but I really enjoyed it. I have no Microsoft points though, so I can't buy it. :(

I love Scott Pilgrim, although there's not much of it - it's a great game with a great soundtrack. Have you considered Castle Crashers?
While I have played and enjoyed Castle Crashers it isn't something I have considered buying.

How long is Scott Pilgrim? It looks huge from the world map screen but from what I remember of the film, and what is covered in the trial it seems it'd be 6 levels.

no poll, but I'd recommend Magic 2012, or From Dust, I've heard good things about bastion too. I will probably be getting it soon, also Toy Soldiers cold war.

Funnily enough I have downloaded Magic 2012's trial but I have yet to play it, Bastion and From Dust have me interested but just not enough to buy

What's Toy Soldiers like?

Bastion

Great game, great music, though only should take about 6 hours (8 if you're going to 100% it since it takes a second playthrough)

Castle Crashers has loads of levels, loads of weapons and has more than 20 or so unlockable characters.

I completed Scott Pilgrim in a night with friends playing, it was a lot of fun especially with everyone playing as their favourite characters from the comic. It has a lot of inside references, like Mobile's secret shop in the Asian restaurant (Mobile is Wallace's mystic boyfriend in the comics and it's nice to see reference like that pop up in the game, if only for a bit of "ahh I remember him")

It has about 7 levels, although they get harder as you go along, it shouldn't take long to complete.

I'm going to say that you should get Hard Corps: Uprising. Love that game. It is a lot like Metal Slug.
I love you. Besides myself, you're the first person I've EVER seen on the internet to mention that game. I really love everything about it, and that's coming from a person who hate's games with an anime art style. The only complaint I have is some of the achievements (I'm an achievement hunter) are ridiculously hard. "Beat the game without dying (ARCADE MODE)", "Beat the game without killing more than 50 Privates (ARCADE MODE"... seriously? Really the only other game I would suggest is Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. My god, that game is amazing.

Here's a tip: don't buy any multiplayer games. They run out of players less than two weeks of the release date. It's happened with every one I've heard of, Quake Arena Arcade, Breach, Section 8: Prejudice, Blacklight: Tango Down... I'm sure there's more.

Cthulu Saves the World and Breath of Death 7, two very good RPG's can burn quite a few hours and definitely worth your time.

I would reccomend Psychonauts over all of those if you are yet to play it.

But of the ones you listed, I pick the Secret of Monkey Island or Beyond Good and Evil HD.
