I loved both of them, although I'm a FF glutton so it was really just a natural progression to KH... However, I'm slightly annoyed because I still haven't played Chain of Memories yet and I hate the Japanese for a little bit because they won't release the expanded versions over here, and I don't like playing foreign language games with the voices dubbed. I get enough of that with Hellsing (although if they did do an English language version of that then please tell me where I can view it on the internet because I really want to see it in English... ).

The first KH was good; sort of like a cross between Fantasia, FF, and Zelda for the PS2.

I've enjoyed eerything about these games form main story arc to all the lil side quests...everything EXCEPT the stupid gummi ship.

Why would we have reason to laugh? Your likes and dislikes are not for us to judge. That being said, I don't know why you're embarrassed. It's not like the games are horribly done or laughing stocks of the gaming community, They fared just fine in reviews and have a pretty sizable fanbase.

Meh. I guess I let my "real life" friends rain down a bit too much hate on the games so now I feel like I have to defend myself before anyone hates on me for liking something. Proof that I'm not so mature as I think I am.

Sounds like you should kill your friends.

Well, I would, but then no one would let me steal their Playstation on the weekends to play KH2. So that plan would kind of backfire:\

The only one I realy hated was CoM, and that was solely for the card-based combat. I always found KH to be a very lighthearted and fun series, and I'm very interested in seeing what they do with KH3, whenever that shows up.

Hopefully the first thing they do is get rid of that useless Gummi Ship minigame.

I played both of them and they are awesome! I wish that you could customize Sora and your partners a lot more skills and stats-wise but Its a really cool game. I think the disney characters kind of puts people off from the game though.

KH1 was cute, fun and nostalgic to play however KH2 left me feeling empty, that magic had been lost, it was merely a sequel. Having FF thrown into the mix was a selling point for me, hopefully the next installment will revive it for me, as a rental only however.

I have a love/dislike with the game.
I absolutely loved it, mainly because it's Disney and Square Enix, but I found it slow and tedious at times. I also thought it was so corny and Sora was the biggest Gary-Stu ever.
Regardless, I loved the game and I'll play it again soon.

I own the second one, because my sister's a Disney freak. Wasn't really impressed.. Never finished it. And I despise levelling systems.

I liked Kingdom Hearts 2, well, I liked it when it was on the highest difficulty. The game was too damn easy(minus the sephy fight).

The only thing KH2 suffered from was a case of the, "So easy I'm bored"'s.

Oh and what with Disney buying out marvel, I can't wait to play with spiderman on my team in the next KH game.

I'm a big fan of Kingdom Hearts. I've played 1, 2, and Chains of Memory. Sure, CoM was annoying to play, but damned if I was going to miss out on part of the storyline. I was a little disappointed that Roxas got so little part in KH2, which is why next week I'll be getting Kingdom Hearts 358/2 so I can finally get some Roxas story, along with see what went down with Riku after CoM.

I never played it but the whole idea sounds a bit... well... stupid. Correct me if im wrong but in a fight between micky friggin mouse armed with a key and some magic FF guy with a sword i think minnie should start planning the funeral. Its like making a game called
"Ash and pikachu tour Afghanistan" Taking silly characters out of a childish franchise and putting them in a serious franchise sounds stupid. The only way this could work was if the game took itself as one massive "WTF" joke. If it takes itself too seriously then im not sure i could like them.

I am NOT trying to start a flame war i just never got WHY these games would be spawned into existance.

I found the first one entertaining, especially the battle system, though I found the magic to be a little difficult to deal with. Other than that, I think the idea of combining Disney and Final Fantasy characters to be stupid. The game would have worked much better with it's own story and characters, which they eventually started towards in 2. I never played 2, but I have heard enough people talk about it to understand that the original characters that thy came up with were more popular.

I played the first one for a few hours and enjoyed it. I never really got hooked on it though, so I never really did get around to playing it through to the finish. Just didn't quite perk my interest.
