With the release of the new Wii U, I believe it is time for Pokemon Snap HD.
Yay or Nay?

I only suggest this because I literally see no other use for the new Wii U other than on-rails shooters. Which is kinda like Pokemon Snap.

Yay.

One trillion times yay.

I don't recall there ever being a complaint about it.

Hell YES!!

It's the only Pokemon I've ever really played, since I treat the official series like WoW: dangerously addictive and to be avoided unless I want my real world life to suffer.

So long as they don't fill it with all the new ones which were designed by 3 year olds, I'm up for that.

Yes. Yes, a thousand times yes. Really, I think I spent 5 hours on getting the perfect shot of the last Pokémon
Mew!
.

Nostalgia goggles off, I sincerely believe that a new Snap game could be a great succes.

I do hope we're not setting ourselves up for disappointment though, as TStormer said, many people dislike the new pokemon (I have just one friend who likes them purely on the basis that he likes discovering new pokemon, which is fine and dandy).
But we can't exactly expect Nintendo to make a full length 8 hour game on Pokemon Snap can we? It was a short game, much like Portal - everything in it was condensed into one small helping of delicious Pokemon goodness, with only like 50-70 of the original Pokemon.
Or maybe I just haven't played it for a while and really need to get my old N64 out again. After all, Portal 2 was 8 hours long and spiffing.

(Although Pokemon Snap didn't really have a plot)

I recently bought Pokemon Snap [sub]thanks to Play-N-Trade[/sub] and beat it in about 4 hours. Still, I loved that game. I hated my Dad for not buying it for me and even now after beating the hell out of the game I still dislike Dad for saving his money like a jerk.

Based on the video I saw of the Wii U and the fact that the controller can be used to draw, I can see a new Pokemon Snap with photo editing features and even a sort of picto-chat feature in which your face is imprinted over that photo you took of Zekrom's ass.

They shoulda put one out for the 3ds since its basically the same thing as a wii2. especially if you look at the ar games and that kinda stuff.

Now I want a 40-50 Hour Pokemon snap game. And I have liked every main Pokemon game, I find them all to be fun and entertaining and I like the new Pokemon as well.

Oh man. That would be AWESOME. I'd LOVE to see a Pokemon Snap 2 with Mudkippppppz

And lots of other ones too, of course. And a campaign that lasts over an hour, or at LEAST lots of reasons to revisit. Maybe each time through you unlock a new generation of pokemon, and after you do them all you can have a special set where it'll pick them at random from every generation.

Free ideas Nintendo! Now make it!
hehehehehehehehehehehe

Now that my childish side is satisfied, I like your idea Nintendo should pay attention

Dear god Pokemon Snap, the most finicky game of all time.

I know I beat the "top possible scores" in the strategy guide a few times, but dear god was it frustrating.

Never again.
