I have an Amazon $50 gift card and I want to preorder 1 of the above games. Both come out on the same day and both are made by companies that made excellent games. I've been playing deus ex conspiracy since it came out basically. Same with invisible war so it's a series I really really enjoy. DA:O is another game I'm enjoying, since the steam sale I've been playing off and on but am really into it now. So escapists help me decide. Both are neck and neck however I am thinking maybe go for Deus ex where it could possibly be a flop, or dragon age 2 which I'm sure has a good safety net when it comes to quality.

We still don't know yet will the Human Revolution be good, what if it turns out to be like Invisible War. In my opinion going for DA 2 is the safe option but if Deus Ex is anything like the original then it'd be worth it.

I'm not a big fan of pre-ordering myself, since you never know the quality of the game and whether it's actually worth getting until it's actually been released.

That said, I'd recommend Deus Ex. The original one was beautiful, and I'm HOPING that the new one will at least capture some of the original awesomeness.

I'd say either wait or Deus Ex 3. Dragon Age looks more like the console version than the PC, so you might want to wait and see how that pans out. There have been some pretty good previews on Deus Ex, so I feel you kind a know what you're getting with that, so go for it.

Personally, I'd be all over ME3 or Skyrim.

We still dont know if DA 2 is going to be any good, lots of changes , many of them not good.

I have confidence in Bioware that they'll do a good job. Just like with everything else.

My vote goes to Deus Ex. It looks fantastic. Dragon Age was good but not brilliant. It comes down to what mood your in this current month. Do you want to use magic or shoot out in the Future.

I'm going to say Dragon Age 2 because I've heard of Deus Ex having delays due to the serious financial problem caused by FF14 so I would pick the one with the more stable release date.

Not sure about either of them, but my first instinct would be Deus Ex. The again, I am a sci-fi nut.

I heard that too. It shouldn't affect the quality of the game, as Square Enix is only the publisher, but it could easily put back the release date. That might actually lead to an even more polished product, though.

I suppose it could help the quality but that wasn't what I was implying. I fully believe if both release dates were stable then the quality in both would be high but I haven't heard of any delays in DA2 while I've heard Deus Ex could be pushed to 2012 so I recommended the one more certain to not take an extra year to come out.

DA2 is a safe bet. It is Bioware after all, they never disappoint. DE will either be GREAT or awful.... But I remain in high hopes.

I find that I have lost a fair bit of confidence in Bioware but still have to say that DA 2 is a 'definite' and Deus Ex is a 'wait for reviews'.
