Title says it all.I've played a lot of games where text and some things in the environment were impossible to see without a HDTV. Games like this were the only reason i bought a HDTV but i still have to say that graphics do seem better in a lot of games with it? So i'm wondering if most people have a HDTV or not?

Thx for your responses :)

lol i forgot to enter the captcha and the new one was "murphy's law"

I got one a couple years ago and I'll never be able to go back. It just makes everything look so much better.

if true HD = 1080p than...no

My TV is 720 and my GF's...I don't know but it's about the same as mine. I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon either. My next big purchase is likely going to be a 3DS.

720p and 1080p are considered HD.

I got two HD monitors but no TV's, mainly because I don't use them.

My monitor is 1080. When I first got that and plugged my 360 into it WOW what a difference I noticed. I could actually read how much shield and health I had left on Borderlands! I don't ever want to go back.

However a screen that's capable of recieving/decoding signals other than from a HDMI, DVI or VGA source? No, I don't own an HDTV :(

I have a small one, about 22" I believe. My parents traded it for my standard definition because they only used the HD to watch TV. They figured I could make better use of it, and I have. :p

My computer monitor is 1080p, but my tv is old old old and definitively not HD. Not that I use it often, I think I had it turned on for maybe 5 times this year.

Yes.... I mean what else do you expect any reasonable person to play games and movies on, we aren't primates for gods sake.

while people stave to death in other countries do you really need 10 ?
Yes that's very inconsiderate. Those starving orphans would love your HDTV's. Some people just lack any perspective in the world.

OT: I have a 32inch LCD 720p. I would have gone for 1080p, but lets be honest, at 32inches the difference isn't worth the extra money it would have cost me. Any higher than 32" and I would have considered it.

Do you have a Samsung MD230X6? They look awesome and expensive.

I myself have a single 1080 monitor and a PAL CRT TV. I voted no.

I have a high resolution monitor, 1080p, and that's as close as I'm going to get to bothering with HDTV.

32 inch Samsung HDTV. If I didn't win this in a raffle, than I probably would have never considered buying a ps3 or build my gaming rig (as I use my TV as my monitor). Probably would have saved on my electrical bill though :p
