My PC monitor is widescreen and HD.

I finally went HD with my TV in January. My giant TV died, so I figured I'd get with the times. Full 1080P.

Title says it all.I've played a lot of games where text and some things in the environment were impossible to see without a HDTV. Games like this were the only reason i bought a HDTV but i still have to say that graphics do seem better in a lot of games with it? So i'm wondering if most people have a HDTV or not?

Thx for your responses :)

lol i forgot to enter the captcha and the new one was "murphy's law"
Why does it say 'Poll' twice?

OT: Yes I do. And it's awesome.

Counting monitors . . . ten HDTV's.
while people stave to death in other countries do you really need 10 ?
Are you freaking kidding me? That's just a silly thing to say.

Since 2003, best TV I have ever owned though I upgraded to an LCD 3 years ago because the first TV, which was a projection TV, was showing its age.

Affirmative! There are 3 HD TV's , 48 inchers and 3 HD monitors in my 2 homes. Have another 3 standard tv's and 2 standard monitors.

My Pc Rig has a 32 inch Monitor and 2 18 inch monitors hooked up split/dual screen. It is a glorious thing.

I love living in a technological age.

I have a 24" 1080p TV in my room, which I got for christmas. It replaced my ancient TV/VCR combi that I've had like ten years, and was about 20". That old TV made games look rubbish, and reading text was neigh on impossible without sitting about a foot away from the screen.

Also, it's amazing how much bigger the screen is considering it's just a 4 inch upgrade, not to mention the corners aren't rounded so you see the whole screen.

Edit - I still wish I could have the TV that we have in the living room. I'd love to play Crysis 2 on that 42" beast.

I do indeed, 42" 1080p LCD. 'Tis awesome. Now all I need is a decent gaming rig and I'll never have to leave the house or interact with other people again.

I don't own TV's, only computers and laptops, which are all inherently HD, so I have had HD for a long long time :D

Nope I'm still rocking a 18" SD TV that i used to play my PS1 in it's twilight years. Now it tries to not explode while I use my 360 and Wii

This is exactly the same story as me i had a 38 inch tube tele that weighed like 75kg, now i have a 42" LG 1080p tele that weighs about the same as a bag of sugar.

No HDTV at my home. Unfortunately I can hardly read some texts in games without getting really close to my TV and breaking my eyes guessing what is written there. That is annoying. I wish there was an option for the size of texts in games.

I hardly watch TV but buying a HDTV just for gaming...?! Sure it's great to see that. My brother has a HDTV, I plugged his PC to his 42''-HDTV...really nice...but he didn't like it

32" LCD 720p. I didn't see the difference between that and 1080p, so I went with the 720p. A lot cheaper too.

sadly, not yet. I might get one, but I've decided to get a gaming pc, which means I'll spend less time on my playstation and I don't watch a lot of tv anyway. so... don't see the point in getting one just yet.

All but one of the screens in the house is HD and I'm too lazy and cheap to upgrade that one.

Not sure how I survived before HD.
