Yes, VERY MUCH YES.

Usually I talk to myself to reinforce plot points, and make sure I understand them. Or when making a plan of attack and voicing it aloud so that I can better deconstruct it. It allows me to stop myself and say "what the hell am I saying, that's a stupid plan! I need to rethink this"

Lastly, I use it when doing a mental checklist to make sure I have everything I need, or have done everything I need. (been doing that a LOT with a super-hard minecraft map pack I've been playing)

BTW, I am not including in this the time I played twilight princess and literally vocalized all of Link's implied lines. ....Yes. I really did that. .....Shut up, it was fun! >: (

I shout at the equites when they run through the hoplites instead of going around...

I voted no. I do however, talk constantly to my girlfriend who sits next to me at her computer while we play. Mostly on loading screens. Usually just nonsense, not anything important. She gets so annoyed, its too funny.

You can count me in the "started watching LPs, now keeps a running commentary as she plays games" category. I don't think I used to do it near as much before watching LPs, but now...now I just start explaining random shit, or talking about tangential game-related things, or explain what I'm doing as I go through the game. With nobody in the room. Its half in my head, and half-being whispered, so my parents don't think I'm insane yet.

And then I started voice acting Recettear in the same fashion...that game is just too much damn fun to not be able to hear the characters. I haven't had the urge to do it for any other game-just that one.
