Meat Loaf & Jim Steinman summarized quite perfectly [http://youtu.be/nEbTe1GBIIQ] what we all feel sometimes...

I want my money back
I want my money back

It's all or nothing, and nothing's all I ever get
Everytime I turn it on, I burn it up and burn it out
It's always something, there's always something going wrong
That's the only guarantee, that's what this is all about

It's a never ending attack
Everything's a lie and that's a fact
Life is a lemon and I want my money back

And all the morons and all the stooges with their coins
They're the ones who make the rules, it's not a game, it's just a rout
There's desperation, there's desperation in the air
It leaves a stain on all your clothes and no detergent gets it out

And we're always slipping thru the cracks (slippin')
Then the movie's over, fade to black
Life is a lemon and I want my money back

I want my money back
I want my money back

What about love?
It's defective - it's always breaking in half
What about sex?
It's defective - it's never built to really last
What about your family?
It's defective - all the batteries are shot
What about your friends?
They're defective - all the parts are out of stock

What about hope?
It's defective - it's corroded and decayed
What about faith?
It's defective - it's tattered and it's frayed
What about your Gods?
They're defective - They forgot the warranty
What about your town?
It's defective - it's a dead end street to me

What about your school?
It's defective - it's a pack of useless lies
What about your work?
It's defective - it's a crock and then you die
What about your childhood?
It's defective - it's dead and buried in the past
What about your future?
It's defective - and you can shove it up your ass!

I want my money back - life is a lemon
I want my money back - life is a lemon, life is a lemon

It's all or nothing, and nothing's all I ever get
Everytime I turn it on, I burn it up and burn it out

It's a never ending attack,
Everything's a lie and that's a fact
Life is a lemon and I want my money back

And we're always slipping thru the cracks (slippin')
Then the movie's over, fade to black
Life is a lemon and I want my money back
Back, back, back, back

I want my money back
I want my money back
Life is a lemon

Life sucks with occasional good bits because I'm in constant physical pain thanks to a trio of physical disabilities. I'm on teh_good_drugs, but they only help some. Also, my husband is a contractor and his job is in constant jeopardy every time a project ends if there's not another one to match him to right away, and I can't help much.

And I live in the US, land of "health problems putting you close to bankruptcy at every moment". I envy you fuckers in Europe!

And here I was expecting a poll inside a poll. EVERYTHING I'VE KNOWN TO BE TRUE IS A LIE!!!!

*runs away crying*

Here's an example of how I think people go about their life:
1. grab a piece of paper from your printer.
2. take a pencil/pen/marker/something to write with and write the word "PROBLEM" in big letters taking up most of the space on the paper.
3. Hold the paper about 6-8 inches away from your face.

People go all through their lives holding up a proverbial piece of paper in front of their face. All they would have to do is put down the paper to see how much of the world they are missing, but all they can focus on is the word 'problem'.

A lot of people who believe that life sucks do not allow themselves to have ANY fun because to them the whole world is nothing but problems. Does anyone remember the movie Yes Man with Jim Carrey? Sure his character is an exaggeration, but a lot of people are actually like him before he said yes to everything. They just flat out refuse to have any fun.

Personally I had no intention of watching the movie Sucker Punch. I thought it was bad movie when I saw the trailers and even worse when I found out the premise. Then some of my friends asked me if I wanted to watch the movie and I went along. After the movie we asked each other what we thought and we all thought the movie could have been MUCH better, but we had fun none the less. We were actually talking about the movie and making random theories about the movie for hours, and Sucker Punch still comes up in conversations occasionally.

People need to just shut up and have fun. Sure something might sound stupid and seem like a waste of time, but what in life isn't? I didn't like Sucker Punch and I still found enjoyment out of watching it.

Life is good and the fact that we are living organisms is nothing short of a miracle. Humanity is at fault here, but I am happy either way.
I wouldn't consider it a miracle that we are living organisms. The number of planets and moons out there, the miracle would be if there wasn't life somewhere.
I never said there wasn't life elsewhere. What I mean is that humans are very fortunate (as well as the rest of Earth's organisms) that there is a planet that provides all of the essentials for life. There are many planets out there, and few around here can sustain life more advanced than simple bacteria.

I chose the option that states life is pretty good but there are some bad parts.

At first, I thought I was going to choose the humanity sucks option but I find people fascinating. There hasn't been a day in my recent years where something somebody did hasn't just blown my mind. Not in a negative way either. No matter how bad the act was. I also can't help but be reminded of a few of the most amazing people I've met in my life.

Life only sucks if you let it. Aren't happy with something? Change it. People make things WAY to complicated when really most things are quite simple.

And i was saying that the odds that there was no planet able to sustain advanced life are astronomically poor. In all likelihood there are dozens or hundreds of planets out there that can support advanced life. If not more.
