Regenerating health... for single player, it is ok... multiplayer, no. CoD4, I know that had it, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference in hardcore... and I only played hardcore...

I would get rid of having to find secret packages or something like that...I've always hated having to find things that aren't really a part of the game.

I'd get rid of so much, but from that list, definitely the gritty (or "realistic", as the developers would have you believe) graphics.

Infinitly repswaning enemies.
beat me to it ... i think there should be a set number of enemies but they shouldn't be so little of a challenge that you can just do a "gangsta bop" through the entire level wiping them out like nothing

Well, dark n gritty isn't THAT bad. Although alot of games would do better with a more cheerfull approach.

I would force weapon balancing for multplayer. Fed up with games having a weapon thats way too ovverused, due to it being way better than everything else, all weapons should have a pro and a con to it. For every pro, it should have a con.

What, only one thing?

How about:

  • Repetitive themes.
    Generic shooters.
    Lack of decent ending/closure.
    Pretentious script.
    Terrible voice acting.
    Dull settings.
Depressing storylines (okay sometimes they work, but even Kirby seems a bit emo these days)
Expansion packs for things that should have come with the game.
bugginess. you shouldn't be allowed to release a game with too many glitches. Microsoft shouldn't even have released windows.
Needlessly long development. Shorter development time is possible if you stop submitting your design to your boss so you can get back you work covered in [metaphorical] red pen and more or less start over again. That's not teamwork in my book.
