Sure it is. Demon's Souls and MGS are great! Also Ratchet and Clank is quite an enjoyable series.

I have all three systems. Unfortunately I don't have the funds to get all the games I want to get for them. Nor do I have the time to play them like I want to.

That being said, If you have the time and money, yeah its worth it. The PS3 is quiet, it plays blu-ray, it connects to the internet, and a host of exclusives..

If the cost of the total amount of games you want exceeds the cost of the console go for it.

If it doesn't it might be a waste of money.

What's so great about Uncharted? I got it with my PS3 and it's one of the most uninteresting games I have ever played. The combat is slow and cheap, the controls are floaty and there is rarely a clear indication of where to go. It doesn't help that I played the game with Dutch voice actors, but at least the horrible voice acting helped me play the game just to see how badly they messed up certain lines.

EDIT: Forgot to add that a PS3 is worth it for the exclusives. And I'd like to add Disgaea 3 as a good PS3 exclusive.(it's a strategic RPG)

Funny thing i have a ps3 and a 360 and i play every multiplatform game on my ps3. The only thing the 360 is used for is the media server and some exclusives, although my opinion 360 has very very few good exclusives. You pretty much have to have a hd tv though to play any new ps3 games otherwise you wont be able read any of the subtitles or semi-small writing.

I would probably say its not worth it to but the ps3 if your just going to use it for exclusives. Its still expensive and unlike the 360 you cant find a used one for under $100.

Pretty much this. Except I use my 360 for all my multiplatform games. Both systems don't have great exclusives tbh.

If you haven't been convinced to buy one based on any of the exclusives so far, there is a good chance its not worth it.

I bought a PS3 for MGS4 and have got a lot of the exclusives and it wasn't worth it.
