Keeping this one simple today, as I'm low on time. Do you like your Internet Service Provider and their level of service, and why is that? Remember to keep civil and explain your opinions as usual, and hopefully I'll have more time to make better polls later. See ya!

Like is a bit of a strong word. I am perfectly fine with my relationship between myself and Comcast (my ISP here in 'Merica).

I know a lot of people who absolutely detest Comcast but I have never had any problems with them. I've moved once, which had my internet down for a day because I neglected to inform Comcast that I was moving. Besides for that problem (which was completely on me), I have always been able to rely on a fast connection.

Even with that, the price could stand to be better. I currently pay $65 and my average speed is 25mbps, which is plenty good for my uses. I looked into cheaper options (primarily Century Link) but Comcasts guarantee of AT LEAST 12mbps is a lot more appealing to me than CL's was, which was UP TO 12mbps. I'll pay the extra $30 or so a month rather than sacrifice speed.

I have AT&T. It's okay I guess. I average around 60-70 Ping by itself but if anyone else in my house is using it too it makes online gaming intolerable. But for just regular internet surfing I couldn't complain.

I moved from a reasonably convenient suburb to farm country in the middle of bloody nowhere, Ohio last summer, and the quality of my internet certainly reflects that. It takes days to download nearly anything on Steam, streaming is nearly impossible, and it is unlikely to improve before I get out of here in another year, since there aren't enough customers in the countryside to justify running decent lines out here, at least in the opinion of Time Warner.

Well, considering I am paying $60 a month for a patchy connection that varies, but usually hovers around 0.5mbps, no I am not happy.

People living in urban areas take their internet speeds for granted, especially since so many people I speak to are surprised that not everyone has access to reliable and "real" broadband like them.

No, I can't say having to restart my modem every other day is a particularly enjoyable experience.

I'm on Acanac, it's okay if a little slow at times. It's a little more expensive than it should be tho.

Well... not really. I'm not going to complain about the speed because I live in a rural area, lower speeds are expected. What I will complain about is a bandwidth cap. 200 GB a month is a rather hefty amount, and I rarely run out, but still, a monthly cap seems silly to me. I'm not sure why it exists when it doesn't in many other countries (I'm in Australia).

But honestly, it's okay. I'm content with it, I guess. Most of the stuff I download is in the megabyte size, so the poorer speed isn't much of a concern really and the monthly cap is vast.. so eh.
