Preferably the one that doesn't exist. That one's my favorite.

I've never watched Adventure Time but I'm going to vote for it because anything is better than MLP.

Hopefully the last ever episode, and the ones being heartwrenched are the fans over their show finishing.

My Little Pony. I don't really like it and it's fans annoy me. I try to ignore it but will spew hatred when I get the chance.
I must say, you're doing a bang-up job of ignoring there, mate.

Do note: You can't complain about the fans, when you yourself are being more persistent and annoying than any fan.

Also, I declare your option of Luna invalid because she is not best pony. She is best princess; even though best pony is giving her a run for her money. :p
Now now, Luna has some hefty competition in the best princess category...

Anyways...best pony...ooph, that's a tough one, especially if we take fan interpretations[footnote]See pretty much any background character EVER for the show[/footnote] and characters[footnote]Fluffle Puff or Button Mash, anyone?[/footnote] into account...but going purely off of the show's canon...Can I just answer 'yes'? It's wishy-washy, I know, but they all really do have their moments :/

The fact that people keep spamming "anyone still think this show is for little girls?!" or "who said this was a little girls's how?!" over countless MLP:FiM clips kinda proves that it still is.
If bronies are so desperate to prove that what they enjoy has to be "accepted as not a sissy show" by society then that hints at insecurity and immaturity of bronies themselves.

I often use this example - only children/teenagers consider adulthood a huge deal. But adults themselves understand that age is not a factor it comes to enjoying something.

Accept that it's kids TV show and accept that it can be enjoyable for everyone in the family at the same time, a light-hearted show with enjoyable characters and some quirky moments. That's all it is, nothing more, nothing less.

It's just that people need to get over the constant need to prove to others who this show is or isn't aimed at. That is the first step to showing maturity. Bronies have nothing to defend, and shouldn't feel the NEED to defend why they watch MLP:FiM. Those who mock bronies are simply insecure and immature themselves with pre-concieved notions about who should be watching what.

I am a full-fledged brony who loves this show and community <3
Easy there mate, it was a joke. I can assure you, this adult isn't insecure at all when it comes to what he likes to watch.

I find myself enjoying family-friendly cartoons more now than when I was a kid. Perhaps it's because I've dropped all pretense of embracing "mature" content for its own sake. Perhaps it's my knowledge of the time and effort the creators go through to make it. Or maybe it's just nice to have a dose of good old-fashioned innocence once in a while in this jaded and cynical world of ours.

Oh god, tough question...I like several of them but a favorite?

It's a tough call between Twilight for being a slightly-socially awkward bookworm, Fluttershy for being just so damn cute, and Rarity mostly because I just like her character.

If I had to choose, I'd say Rarity because I admire her passion for her work alongside her generally cheerful demeanor.

If I had to choose a favorite character then I'd have to say Zecora. She's very wise and even tempered, and I love her rhyming. I can only imagine how difficult it is to rhyme all of her lines. Her voice actress is pretty good too.

To be honest, I'm quite surprised at the lack of Luna votes here. She seems to dominate many a poll on more brony-oriented sites, yet at the moment she's only above AJ here. I really did not see that coming.

Yeah, I didn't expect rarity to be doing nearly as well as she is, she usually ends up on the bottom of most polls I've seen, which is a tragedy because she's a character archetype that usually ends up being a shallow fashion obsessed antagonist in other girl's media, and FIM does a pretty good job at making her a really girly character without being portrayed as weak, shallow, or useless.

Fluttershy's always been popular though, so I'm not surprised to see her at the top.

Yeah sorry if I seemed to unload a wall of text on you for no reason :(
It's just that in light of the recent Twilight vs Tirek fight, every youtube video featuring that fight has a FLOOD of "not a little girls show etc" comments and it drove me up the wall :S

I'm actually surprised about everyone saying Rarity is unpopular. I always figured the reverse was true for her, especially with how well all her episodes have been received. Personally, she's my second favorite and is much more consistent than my actual favorite (and has the best VA to boot).

Fluttershy though... yeah, no shocker there. She's always been top 3 in these kind of polls.

EDIT: Wrong quote. It's fixed now.

I'll say its a toss-up between Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. As far as backstory is concerned, they're the most mysterious of the Mane 6, Fluttershy particularly. We know she was bullied in Flight school. But we still aren't sure about her other quirks like her stare, tree fetish, or her "GOING TO LOVE ME!" persona, which I really want to see elaborated in season 5 (seriously, it's been hinted at for 4 seasons, and I'd like to see more of it). Then there's Rainbow Dash, there's a lot they can do with her character, like her family, or her reason for joining The Wonderbolts. Plus, of all the mane 6 duo pairings, Rainbow and Fluttershy are seen together the most, and their chemistry is always great.

For me, I'd say Twilight for season 1, Luna for season 2, and Not Applicable for season 3+ on account of not having seen them.

Don't bother with Season 2 past the two-part opener. It's crap.

Eh, opinion and all that, but I found season 2 to be superior to season 1 in pretty much every way except maybe in songs. Season 1 just had too many bottle episodes, the CMC being particularly painful. That, and the moral lessons were really predictable and a little more childish (in that kind of boring cliche way) than season 2, pretty much 80% of the episodes were moral rehashes of stuff done on other shows for decades.

Not that I'm disputing your opinion, but season 2 being crap is not an opinion I see very often, so I think you're in the minority on this one.

Season 2 was my favorite season so speak for yourself.

If you label S2 episodes like Luna Eclipsed (Luna's struggles with normal society), Read It and Weep (RD discovers reading), Putting Your Hoof Down (Iron Fucking Will!), The Mysterious Mare Do Well (this one had me genuinely wondering who it was), Baby Cakes (oh god Pinkie), Hearts and Hooves Day (Cheerilee + Big Mac), and A Canterlot Wedding (still my favorite finale) as "crap" then I dunno what's your standard for a good episode.

Bah, and poppycock, the real Sean Connery would have known that Twilight Sparkle is part ponyta, obviously MLP is just another region in the pokemon universe, and the princesses are just the legendaries.

You have an option for Luna but none for the glorious thousand year tyrant Celestia? Your treasonous actions have not gone unnoticed Herr Taco....

That reminds me: I really need to watch the last seven or so episodes of season four. I typically avoid My Little Brony and Equestria Daily for fear of spoilers when I get into this "marathon" mindset, but I caught a glimpse of something on one of the sites by accident and it could only be described as "Centaur Satan".

Oh, I'm definitely in the minority on this one. No argument there. Even among those who don't like how the show's been handled, I'm still in the minority.

Luna Eclipsed is the only one of those I'd call good and even then, it still has problems (the main one of which could be fixed by just having Twilight tell off Pinkie). I suppose Putting Your Hoof Down was okay, but it was the last new episode I watched. The rest I'd either classify as part of season 2's long slog of crap, or haven't seen on account of losing my patience with waiting for things to improve.

Been around for who knows how long and still hasn't evolved to a Rapidash?

What a terrible Ponyta.

It's like she's owned by Ash or something.

No worries, it was an honest mistake. Forum posts can be an awkward medium for conveying levity.

Truth be told, my favorite moment of the finale was Tirek's initial conversation with Discord. That was some terrific dialogue right there. The fight scene was an impressive spectacle, but it was ultimately just filler until the eventual plot resolution via friendship and product placement Rainbow Power.

A close tie between Pinkie Pie and Futtershy for me. I'm still far behind everyone else when it comes to the show, so perhaps there will be an episode later down the line that will sway me one way or the other, but I chose Pinkie Pie here. As annoying as she can be at points (to me, anyway), I generally enjoy her weird antics and her constant positivity. A Friend in Deed was the episode that really made me like her though, even if she was overly obsessive in it. She's just a ball of chaotic joy that just wants others to be happy, and I adore that.
