Paragon to everyone except Miranda and Jacob. I hope these two hate me in ME3. Good times.

Although sometimes he just getting pissed and shooting out a monitor or headbutting a Krogan, Darius Shepard almost always leans towards the right, moral choice. He's not perfect, but he's the closest thing to the galaxy's number 1 hero.

Mostly Paragon, but when it comes to killing people or enemies or punching annoying reporters, renegade all the way.

I usually go for Paragon but once someone tries to kill me I will murder their soldiers out of buildings and in construction sites and I will take out the big bad when he's a quarter through his villain speech.
I'm a nice guy but if you try to fuck with me I will break your kneecaps and choke you to death with them.
"Give me a name, or I'll cut your balls off and sell them to a Krogan!!!"
That's what your last sentence reminded me of. Best used with FemShep.

I feel that most of the Renegade choices are dumb as shit really. Like for example..

Why would you kill the Geth or Rachni? The main thing you should be trying to do across all the games is to gain as many allies as possible for the final battle against the Reapers. You may whine and complain about how the Rachni could come back and betray you in another hundred years, or that indoctrinating the Geth in is inhumane, but desperate times call for desperate measures. The Rachni wont exactly be able to take over anything if the entire galaxy is destroyed again will they? Or that The Quarians wont be able to take back their home planet if gets blown up in the Invasion.
But the choice to kill the Geth is a paragon one, you get renegade points by reprograming them.

Paragon. I can´t be evil or a jerk.

Btw, I got 30 Paragon points for rewriting the heretics.

I am running a Sentinel through ME1, then ME2, and into ME3 as a renegade.... so I have to vote Renegade

First time through Paragade, Sheps mostly a good guy, until you piss him off, then you get an electro wrench in the spine. For Second playthrough Renegon. Mostly a hard ass, but not racist.

With Mass Effect 3 right around the corner, I wanted to see where the community on the Escapist tend to lean in regards to morality. I prefer the badassery of the Renegade options, personally.
Paragon for me. The game came around at a particularly bad time in my life, and let me feel like a hero and let me feel good about something when I needed it. So, its paragon, all the way baby. :)

I'll play Paragon, and occasionally switch to renegade, just to see what happens, and then feel kind of bad about it.

I default to Paragon because I rarely find a good reason to act like a dick to someone.
the 'krogan headbutt' thing appealed to me as it suggested that shepherd had sussed how the krogan think and work, and was doing things their way.

By the same token, the shoot out one i did because, well, you have some guy trying to strongarm you, and an opportunity to turn the tide early in a manner I;d assume most heroes would.

None of the other renegade options fit my character or myself.

I kinda have to play paragon, it hurts to much to be evil. The most I could ever do is play neutral, choosing choices that while evil may benefit all in the long run.

I tried to play renegade once in mass effect 1 but got to the point where I had to kill the ex-mind-controlled asari and just couldn't do it.

Swtor comes to my mind in where the bad and evil choices seem to further blur together, but in a good way.

I used to play as a Renegade/Evil in all games that had the option.. but in the past few years i guess something has changed in me because i find myself unable to make those Renegade/Evil decisions anymore.

My main play through generally follows my moral compass, which ends up being mostly paragon. Though when there's a special option that's renegade without paragon option I'll likely take it. That was something I really enjoyed about the cut scene options available in ME2.
Flat out electrocuting a guy who thinks you're allied is just awesome

I've tried to play intentional full Renegade, or even more renegade with those as the major plot points and I just never liked it as much and often get bored.

With Mass Effect I tend to go with Paragon choices.

The story just seems to work better that way. The games essentially starts out with you being given the ultimate honor of being initiated into the Space Cops in an attempt to stop one of their own who has gone Rogue. Playing as anything other than a justice minded military official seems counter intuitive to me.

More to the point is that my choice of Paragon role is a testament to the quality of the game's world building and writing since I tend to be a complete bastard in most games that offer me a morality system.

I'm mostly Paragon. I'm something of a nice guy, and I do what I can to help others. However, the closer we get to being eaten by an army of mecha-cthulus, the less room for error I feel I have and the more Renegade I act.

For example, in the first game I was almost full Paragon with only a touch of Renegade. In the second game I ended the game with just over 3/4 of the Paragon bar full and 1/2 of the Renegade bar full. I expect that by the third game I'll be 3/4 Renegade and 1/2 Paragon.

99% of the time I go Paragon; in ME 1 is always Paragon, whilst there are two situations in 2 where I do a renegade thing; one is with the tool to kill the guy and the other is the part during Thane's loyalty mission where they guy tries to stop you; the reason I do the latter is because my game seems to mess up if I talk him into letting me proceed.
