I've been on the fence about getting it through pre-order or at launch due to several factors regarding some personal issues. I was going to wait and save more money and get it once Gravity Rush releases internationally (most anticipated game), but looking at my current balance and a stroke of luck has changed that.
My payment for a previous contract job came in and gave me the needed boost in funds, and this deal from futureshop pushed me over the edge: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/id/10172908.aspx (seriously fellow Canadians, this is your best shot). Getting the system, with a 4gb stick for free is a great money saving deal. 4gb will suit me fine for the time being as I don't download games unless it's the only option, and 4gb is enough for installs, DLC, whatever.
So yes, I will be getting one. Don't care if I have to wait till the official release date, it's the deal I was looking for the entice me. And I have amazon to purchase the few games i can get cheaper off of there than at local retail.
As for games I'll be getting: Uncharted, Rayman, Blazblue, UMvC, Wipeout, Disgaea 3, Ninja Gaiden, Shinobido 2, and Army Corpse of Hell. Not all right away, but throughout the month and next month.

I might buy a Vita when I can afford it, a memory stick and a couple of games. Of course, that's assuming I can find copies of both Touch My Katamari and Lumines Electronic Symphony, the only two games that make me interested in it.
The only interest I had for it was that the PSP had some great JRPGs on there. So I assumed Vita would too. Apparently most Japanese developers are jumping ship from the console so it's pretty much cemented that I won't be buying one.

I like how biased the poll is, like 4 options for yes, and only 1 fanboyishly written no. I have no intention to get the Vita. However should something good release on it, I will. But, that probably won't happen, if the PSP is anything to use as a standard for comparison.
