After much deliberation, I'm going to go with Sangheili. Remove some of the religious mumbo-jumbo, and I like them quite a lot. Think post Covenant civil war elites.

Seeing as how to someone who hasn't played the game, they still are considered aliens, and that the fact they are not is revealed throughout the game that they are not, I wasn't exactly going to delve into that detail, especially without spoilers.imahobbit4062 said:

I'm torn between the Yautja and the Tau. Yautja just for the sheer badassery, but they seem to enjoy their independence among their clan. I.e. uniting and controlling them would be difficult especially after
The Tau would be a society that would be far easier to control as they are (mostly) united already. Their tech is equal or on par to the Preds (I'm talking stealth suits/plasma guns here), plus they've got freaking Railguns.
I think I'll go with they Tau because having my own battlesuit is a nerd dream come true.
Although, if I could be the princeps (sp?) of a Warlord Titan I'd jump at that in a nanosecond. Just having a Titan under my control might cause some severe power-madness, but it'd be totally worth it, because if someone told me something I didn't like, I'd simply charge the turbo-laser and ask them to speak up and say that again. >

Close call between the Predators and the Sangheili. I think I'm in love with the technological honour-based society both races have, but the Elites win it for me. They have more emotions and intelligence, simply put.
I think a lot of people just pick the most bad ass alien they're familiar with, and everyone's familiar with Aliens and Predators.
