PS3 because I want to see how steamworks works on the PS3 :) also free PC copy so why the hell not? To be honest not a fan of PC gaming when it comes to first person games. But I can still play Co-op with my PC gaming friends and my PS3 owning friends thanks to steamworks so it's win win really.

Thank you for including the "I'm not buying Portal 2" option. I always hate when there are polls that just assume that everyone will buy a game. I didn't like anything about Portal so it's an instant "NO BUY" for me, but I really hope you folks enjoy Portal 2.
Finally! I thought I was the only one!
There's 3 of us. I'm still baffled as to why Portal was so amazing. Yeah the humor was clever and the puzzles were kinda interesting, but it's a 2 hour puzzle game. Woopy doo.

Sacrilege! Kill it with Neurotoxin!

PC.

For I am of the PC gaming master race, all console using lesser beings may now bow down before me in awe and wonderment!

Not buying it. The first one was enjoyable, but I can't see the second one being anything other than nausea inducing at this point.

360. I hate trying to play anything more than a Flash game on the computer (and I don't know if my laptop can handle it, anyway), and the PS3 has been brick'd since god knows when.

Wow..what does the PS3 have to do to get some support huh? I mean come on guys, its getting 2 copies of an awesome game that you can share and enjoy.

- Im getting the PS3 retail version for a friend of mine who can't afford any games right now.
- Im using the PC code with it for myself on Steam.

I will play both singleplayer and Co-op on PC.When my friend is playing Co-op (PS3) then I'll be doing singleplayer, and vise versa for when I'm online :)
I was thinking the exact same thing.. i expected it to be about 33% for each platform tbh.

lol you didnt know that "Poll:" was automatically added, did you? XD

im getting it for the 360. preordered yesterday :)
haha, i wondered about that actually, but i've seen alot of threads where 'Poll:' was in the thread title and for some reason there was no poll... so i assumed you had to add it yourself... oh well x)

PS3 here mainly because I'm too cheap/poor to buy a new video card so I'll just have to settle with playing it on my PS3 with the 60 inch TV. Damn this financial crisis D:

Whatever system my friend gets it on. I am just gonna borrow it off him. I refuse to pay top dollar for a game that will take less time to complete then a bath.
It takes you 12 hours to take a bath!?

Since Apple made those "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" commercials PC has become synonymous with Windows PC. So I understand the confusion.

I will be getting it for the PS3 so I can get the PC version for free and I will be playing it multiple times on both systems. :)

getting it for the PS3, but when you buy it for the PS3 when you link to your steam account on the playstation you get a code that allows you to download it on the computer absolutely free. looking forward to the cross platform goodness!

I'm buying the PS3 version for my mate, then using the PC version for myself.
You won't be able to play both simultaneously, only one at a time.

But yeah, I'm getting PS3 version since the computer version comes with it.
How do they prevent you from playing both simultaneously. What if someone else is using a different online name to play it while I play the PC version with my steam account?

Im assuming you have to link both copies to the same steam account, but if that isnt the case then i dont think they have any practical means to stop you from giving your code to someone else

I am NOT waiting 'til 7PM to play Portal 2 on steam! Plus there's something strangely exhilerating about going to store that you just can't expirience sitting at home waiting for it to finish downloading.

Isn't the option "not buying the game" answered by actually NOT answering the poll?
The question is "What platform are you getting portal 2 on?", what's the point in saying "I won't buy it" ? You don't go answering "I don't have boobs, I'm a guy" in a poll about bra size, do you ?

:p

if we're going into semantics then yes you're right... buttt the option is there to provide a relative insight into how many people WONT be buying the game aswell as those who are.
although the votes are obviously going to be distorted because i imagine a good chunk of the people specifically not buying portal 2, will have skipped this thread over unless they wanted to tell people that they werent going to buy it...

anyway, you didnt say what you're planning on doing XD
