Poll: Poll: Which genres would you like to see more of?

A simple question. The games of which genre would you personally like to see more of.
Other strategy games refers to 4X, turn based strats and such.
Sandbox basically means GTA ripoff.
Adventure games encompasses both point and click adventures and action-adventures.

I, personally, would like to see more adventure games released, especially on the PC. I need a bit of storytelling to break up the constant and mundane shootouts lately.

I'd like to see some more 4X games, since Civilization is the only big-time 4X franchise. Other genres have good representation overall, but there are hardly any companies working on 4X titles.

I would love to see more sandbox games because they have more replay value then most FPSs in my eyes. When I get a sandbox game that's well made, I will spend hours just exploring and looking in the scenery and being glad that someone made a game like this...

We haven't had a legitimate horror game in years. They're all just action games with ugly enemies.

Smart/semi smart shooters.

There aren't enough STALKER type games about. Shooters that lead you around with corridor maps and cover systems really irritate me. I find cover systems especially irritating, as if the dev didn't think I was smart enough to hide behind a wall.

More space simulation-y shooter games like Freespace and X3 would a welcome addition to my gaming library.

Some more turn-based RPG would be good. I hate that a lot of the big RPG feels more like shooters.

RPGs not turned-base though else it will be playing Pokemon but better graphics. I love RPGs like The Witcher, DA:O, and KotOR (1 and 2). We need more games focusing on plot and story rather mind-numbing gameplay.

I really miss the good old fashioned DOOM/Serious Sam style shooters that used to be everywhere before we all decided that apparantly realism was in and that we couldn't comprehend having a gun wielding protaganist unless they happened to be a US Marine.

I want more Turok dammit!

I would like a lot of them but mainly 4x strategy (More total war/SoSe? maybe more innovation if that's possible) and sandboxes (so long as they follow 3 rules:
1.Spontaneoous events. (for mixing it up)
2.World worth exploring (for loot or mere exploration value)
3. stuff to do. (genre staple))

I want to see genres begin to blend a little more. Borderlands was awesome because of it's style and RPG elements. It would be neat to have some other genres cross over.
