Poll: Poll: Would you now describe yourself as a ME fan?

Hay, was just trawling through another ME3 ending post and wondered just how much the ending changed peoples opinions on the series as a whole

Now I just hope I dont get to much "cant stand the number of ME posts" hate

Played every 1 and 2 three times, on my second play of 3 now, spending about...150+ hours on them altogether, enjoyed every minute of every game.

So yeah, safe to say I'm a ME fan.

I liked the first game but wasn't impressed with the second. I've played the first game to completion at least a dozen times, the second only twice. I'll play the third eventually when the game is cheap.

ive tried replaying the SP part of ME3..... i cant, ive mostly just stuck to MP these days.

I never played the series. Of course I don't hate it, but the series never appealed to me, so I haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

I have no idea.
For me it all started with ME1, I loved it and it is still my favourite ME game. Then I got ME2, which was more streamlined but still a lot of fun. Then finally ME3 came out, I was having a lot of fun despite disagreeing with some design decisions. I went into the ending thinking; "How bad could it possibly be?" Well, it was so bad I still am not able to play anything ME related.

So am I still a fan? Really can't say.

Still a fan. I will forgive the third game's ending because I love the characters and the universe so much.

I will buy and play ME3 when it gets reduced. 50% at least. But no, I would never call myself a Mass Effect fan. It implies commitment I am not interested at all in showing.

Pretty gutted with the ending, but other fan stuff, such as the fan created slide show and the promise that bioware will expand on the ending has helped ease the disapointment.

If i was asked to give a recomendation whether or not to play ME series, i would still urge people to play. ME3 was beautiful right up to the end as far as im concerned, and the journey is worth the annoyance of the cheap budget contrained end.

I would contend that if you aren't a fan, then you have no basis for hating the endings.

Despite my feelings on the ending, I still love the series.

At the moment I can't find the urge to replay it, but I do still like it. Maybe the extended cut will make the games feel worth-while to play again.

Just as much a fan as I was before. Mass Effect 3's ending sucked, but I remember the awesome 99% of the rest of the game much more. And Mass Effect 2 is still my #1 game.

Well, the point of the poll is to gauge how Mass Effect 3 affected your view of the series as a whole. So if you were never a fan, you're not really relevant. Lots of polls target specific groups like this.
