Those Frankencubes, creeped me the hell out. You can tell they're in pain and looking into their eyes gives me the feeling they're trying to say "Kill me, I don't want to live as this".

Carrying them made it worse since they stare at you.
I felt so sorry for them. If you listen to them squeak, I swear they say "you're sweet" at one point.

I found Old Aperture extremely creepy. Knowing that that particular part of the facility had been dead and buried and was never coming back? And yet a lot was intact, vintage furniture and test chambers, and Cave's recordings still played, and I got this strong sense of "... well, bloody hell". Knowing that I was the first person to traverse the area after it'd been abandoned for so long... I loved it.

I loved

Wheatley's test chambers, too. I always enjoy being tested by GLaDOS but when I was doing it for Wheatley I felt this sense of danger, like something was very wrong and it shouldn't be happening like this. I loved him through the whole game, though. Loved him, loved him, LOVED HIM.

I thought the old Aperture test chambers had this ambiance and atmosphere of making your way through Black Mesa in Half Life 1. (Obviously without opposing forces.)

The game is exactly what I was wanting and I am happy that it mixed dark humor in a dark setting very well. Great job, Valve.

I found myself lacking emotional reactions besides laughing at jokes.

That's not a bad thing in my eyes, either.

I didn't feel any emotion or connection to any characters at any point.

I do want to give Valve's writers some type of comedy awards, though.
