Yeah the title says it all. I have no idea which to get and I can only get one. Note I am getting it on Xbox 360 so crysis will not kill my computer. Cheers :D

... Two completely different games, how on earth are we supposed to know what you'd prefer?

Is anybody capable of making a decision on what to spend their own money on any more? I swear these kind of topics are daily.

Portal 2. If it's anything like the first game, it'll be a masterpiece. Short, but a masterpiece nonetheless.

Do you have people to play co-op with, if so and you liked portal 1 then portal 2, if not then Crysis 2.

I'm in full concurrence. I don't actually get why people think this helps.

OT: Both. If your tiny brain is having this much trouble deciding then you should just get both.

Crysis does not have GLaDos.
I don't know about Crysis 2, but i played both Portal and Crysis. The latter one has been finished once, and i've made many many many many reruns on portal, and i hope the next one will be just as much fun.

Oh, Portal 2 is far more fun than its predecessor. Don't worry about that.

To the OP: I'm thinking Portal 2 would be your best bet. Crysis 2 is probably a good game, I don't doubt that, but Portal 2 is a god damn masterpiece.

Hello. The reason I cannot get both is because I am on a rather small income, and I would like to get the most out of my games as I cannot get many at all throughout the year- so please do not insult my intelligence. And I thought this would help because I am at a standstill as I enjoy both the genres said, and can see the worth of both of these, but cannot come to a conclusion of what I would enjoy the most because I have not played the games. So I thought I would ask a group of Gamers of their opinions and how much they enjoyed themselves playing the games and decide upon that.

You'd have to be damn near crazy to buy Crysis 2 over Portal 2. How can you even ask such a silly question? The most uninspired shlock to come out so far or the most interesting game to come out so far this year?

I know it's just an opinion but damn...

played crysis 2, and its... ok. haven't got portal 2 yet, but compared to the original, crysis 2 is a bit of a letdown. the gameplay mechanics i think have improved, but the scenery and setting is less favourable in my eyes. i would PROBABLY say portal 2, but i'd have to play it to say for sure.

Crysis 2 hands down.

Don't get me wrong i think portal 2 will be the better game and I probably wont get crysis 2 until its on sale, however for the xbox 360, and thats the salient point here I would get crysis.

Attempting to play portal with a controller would stretch my capacity for frustration beyond the limit.

Then buy the Baldur's Gate series. I don't like having to choose from two games when there are better ones up for grabs.

Down to your preference, the thing to know is, Portal isn't a Action Shooter but a Physics based puzzle game. If you like to shoot things Crysis will cater that need. Out of the two I have found I'm enjoying Portal more, I fined more satisfaction in completing a difficult puzzle than a difficult shoot-out.
