Why is there no option for more than one? If forced, I'm probably an assault kinda guy, but I like to diversify. I prefer to have a sniper, Shotgun and some form of assault rifle (Preferably an XM8, plz US Army?). Some times you wanna shoot a lot of guys with the assault rifle and not pay much attention to detail, sometimes you wanna sit back from a distance and watch people crawl around as you shoot out their ankles with the sniper, and sometimes there is nothing more satisfying with putting the barrel of a shotgun in someone's mouth and pull the trigger.....and then make a necklace with their teeth.

I find it interesting that so many people around here are interested in medic/support classes. On any other forums, it's always I'm DPS, yo, i'm l337 and all that sh1zn1k.

Close Quarters seem to be where I excel at shooters. In half-life 2 I frequently rack up a huge amount of kills whenever I can manage to get my hands on a shotgun, which, if im not using that, Im using the melee weapon and racking up kills that way (Comically enough, after a good amount of time through a longer game, or a few map cycles, I see more people using the crowbar or stunrod. They can seldom land a hit when they engage me in melee combat however.)

I'm usually the support. I love playing in games where you have objectives and such, cause I'm not really good at taking the enemy out, but I'm really good at holding them off for a while.

But it depends, most games that have it I go for a medic class. Other times I go for close-quarters, but usually I us assault rifles. I also got really good at sniping at MW2, but who didn't? And I hate that game anyway, so it doesn't count.

Shotgun is my favorite. I like to run from cover to cover, closing the distance between me and my enemy, or wait behind corners till unlucky soldiers come into my sights.

Sniping is what I usually do best, so that's what I'd go in to.

I'm mostly situational. Depending on my current team and our current standings, I will change my class to fit.

Trying to take out a base from behind will normally have me going with a silenced SMG. On the other, if I'm providing fire support or going Rambo, an assault rifle or LMG works much better.

Sniping. There is no joy like watching a line of enemy soldiers' heads blow off and knowing that somewhere, a bunch of heavy assault players are crying into their headsets.

I'm also a fan of stealthing around with silenced pistols, though, so I guess I'll just go with "whatever lets me play a dirty underhanded sneaky bastard."

Sniiiiiiper! By far the best way to play. Waiting, watching for that perfect shot.... deep breath, wait, wait, now squeeze... BLAM..1..2..3.. headshot. I also like some sort of shotgun or high capacity pistol as back for when shit goes crazy. Oh and some remote C4 too.

i likes close combat guns more specifically the shotguns. i find that u need to be good to be able to use a shotgun. especially in bad company 2 where EVERYONE can pretty much add a scope to their gun and shoot u from afar or even run and gun at u with mass fire till ur dead ( this is especially true for those goddamn medics). you just cant pick up a shot gun and go!

Assault rifles, Mid range weapon so I can help support the front lines.

If I had a second choice, shotgun, nothing like painting the walls with the blood of my enemy and military grade buckshot

it really does defer game to game..in tf2 i like to be support

in certain games, im all about mines/claymores+ grenades, but then there are some that i absolutely love to just soak in that one hit sniperkill from way off, then there are some that assault rifle is the absolute way to go
