My mom pressured me into buying The Sims 2.

Everyone and their mother would not stop talking about the visionary sex in a package that was Psychonauts.
Good lord that game was terribly implemented and its so called "amazing" plot is about as imaginative as Disney movies. I'm not knocking Disney movies but lets be honest, they're only creative to point.

Gears of War 2. Didn't want it. Friend told me I should buy it. Bought it...sold it after 2 weeks.
