Greetings!

I am considering purchasing a PSP. However, my local retailer only has it available in two bundles (and no, there is no standalone unit); one that comes with God of War: Chain of Olympus and Tekken: Dark Ressurection and one that comes with God of War: Ghost of Sparta.

To be honest, though, I don't particularly care for any of the three. While I am sure they are all good games, I am not familiar with the God of War series (plus, it seems perhaps a bit too over-the-top for my liking) and I am not much of a fighting game fan.

However, since I don't have much in terms of options, I decided to turn to you for advice. Which bundle do you think is better?

Id go with chain of olympus.
Honestly god of war is over the top, but fun to pick up for a little bit if you have the time. Its an action "rpg" which is basic button mashing fun.

If you don't particularly care for either of them, then I'd suggest just skipping out on them and waiting for a better bundle. In my opinion, those PSPs look absolutely atrocious, so much so that it kept me from buying the bundles. I'd much rather get a Peace Walker bundle online.

However, if you can't order online and if I had to choose, I'd suggest getting the former, if only because it comes with two games. I never really cared for God of War or Tekken myself.

Either of those the cool GoW Special Edition PSP? Black and Red one? Id go for that :p
No, both of them are just a regular PSP bundled with one or two games.

Psp's are constantly releasing new bundles. I would either hang out and wait for a new one. Probably with their next big release (maybe mlb 11 the show)

Or use the internet to acquire one.

The bundle I got had tekken dark resurrection. It's great especially the fact that you get it for free. Kind off.

Go for any PSP-3000 bundle, anything that is below 3000 is not worth it, at all.
Both of them are 3000 bundles. Previous PSP versions are no longer available at retail and I have no intention of getting an older version anyway. The 3000 seems better anyway, although I am still unsure whether the interlacing of the 3000 or the ghosting of the 1000/2000 is a more tolerable problem.

Any of the two, then trade the games in and get Crisis Core and Dissidia.
These games are probably not worth trading in or selling, to be honest. Considering they come bundled with the system, chances are that there is already a flood of used copies available. So even if I did manage to sell them, I doubt they would fetch much of a price at all.

Also, I currently have no intention of getting Dissidia. While the idea of a crossover game with various Final Fantasy characters sounds neat, as I said, I am not much of a fighting game fan. That said, I am interested in trying out Crisis Core, especially since I loved Final Fantasy VII (although I am aware that Crisis Core, outside of story, has little to do with the original).

Well then it shouldn't matter if you are not really interested in the games that come with it. And honestly the whole 3000 screen problem is only noticable if you are looking for it. People have blown it way out of proportion. The 3000 is a huge improvement.

Well, technically, it doesn't. But since I am going to be stuck with these games, I might as well pick the ones that are worth at least giving a try. :p That is the reason why I made this poll.

And glad to hear that the problem isn't really noticable. Hopefully, I will be able to avoid it.
