Poll: Question for guys/gals who like Asian women/men

I love you. I agree 100% with your culture and sensibilities thoughts. That's what sparked my interest in the asian persuasion. With my girlfriend, I felt that we met, like you said, as "equals". I didn't have to start off in a hole and try to dig my way out. It's because, in the USA, guys will tell a woman anything to get in their pants. They will tell them how beautiful they are and how they deserve the finest things just to hook up. After that one night, the girl's expectations AND confidence are through the roof. That's a terrible combo in a woman. It makes them walk around like stuck up bitches. That's not my thing, I don't want a girl like that. I want nothing to do with a girl like that.

Since you've been there too...the body stuff...from my experience, I like a white woman's body more. Asian face & hair all the way, though. Did you ever have an asian lady with teeny hairs on their nipples? or didn't shave their thighs, just the bottom part of the legs? My problem is dealing with that kind of thing. Imperfections, too. I can't stop looking at the imperfections and judging women that I date. It's terrible but I can't control it. I do better with women of Eastern cultures because I believe that their personalities and the way they were raised would be more conducive to a healthy family environment and raising children with good values. Look at kids in America today - they suck because American women suck.

Needless to say, a beautiful woman (since I am a heterosexual man) is a beautiful women, regardless of skin colour. That being said, I have recognised a tendency within myself to generally be less prone to attraction towards black and south-asian girls.

I find myself attracted to all sorts of women regardless of race. I would say I prefer Asians by a very small margin (speaking as a Caucasian male).

When I was single I just liked women. Didn't matter where they were from or what they looked like. If I found them attractive then I found them attractive. I've been with women of various cultures in my time and have no preference.

My only real preference is hair colour. I like dark or red hair i'm not a fan of blonde. No idea why but it's nothing to do with the stereotype I just don't go for blonde.

I have more races than just my own that I'm partial to, whilst still not necessarily liking a handful of races, but why would you put Asian in the title to attract MORE people? As if there are more people attracted to Asians than there are people at all?

I'm a white man, and I tend to find women of my own race more sexually attractive. I'm not opposed to dating anyone outside my race, though. Just haven't clicked with any of 'em, and I haven't met an Asian broad yet. I knew an Irish gal once. She was great. I think that's what made me love redheads.

So yeah... I'll date anyone, but red hair helps.

Well going to China dispelled any notion of 'yellow fever' in me. Not saying there aren't very attractive Asian girls, there certainly are, just no more so than of any other ethnicity.

An attractive women is an attractive women regardless of her genetic background. Asians and Latinas tend catch my eye quicker but ultimately it makes no difference. Personality and intellect are much larger factors for me.

I tend to not be interested in black girls, sometimes I see one that catches my eye, but usually not.

I find most women attractive, it's on a hierarchy of course. Asians are second only to redheads (mmmm, redheads), followed by Indian and other women of darker skin and then white brunettes and ending with blonds. Tend not to be sexually attracted to Hispanic women though. Something about the skin tone is unappealing.

I get nervous, whenever I read these sorts of threads, that it's going to turn into a "gotta catch em all" kind of thing, where someone describes their desire to try women of each skin colour. That hasn't happened so far, so kudos to escapists for not treating people like flavours of ice cream.

That said, reading through, I've already seen some irksome opinions about blacks, whites etc. I find it pretty unpleasant to think that someone is willing to openly talk about how "Chinese girls are the best", listing off their attributes like they are a brand of car or something. Some things are best left unsaid.

I can find all women of the world PHYSICALLY attractive. However, there's some cultural personality norms found in Asian culture that I don't so much like. Particularly, I find passive/submissive people incredibly un-sexy.

With personality, there's always going to be non-normative people in a given population. However, having lived in Asia for a bit of time and in Western culture for the rest, I can honestly say that there is a really high proportion of Asian women who fall into that traditional submissive stereotype fostered by early Eastern culture.

Some guys dig that. I definitely do not. I like someone who speaks their mind and, as weird as it sounds, I like to argue/debate (keeps my intellect humming). If someone just agrees with me on everything, where's the fun in that?

I like women of all races. I find dark and smooth skin more attractive though. Freckled skin is my only turn-off in that regard.

I find many different people sexy. Certain groups who I tend to find the most sexy include:

African -American (or -Canadian or -whatever) men and women.

Japanese/Chinese/Vietnamese women (and some men, but more rarely).

Italian and French men.

Irish (ie red-headed) women. Also some Irish men (the guys from Boondock Saints for instance).

Hispanic women.

... I think that's it on major ethic/racial groups who I often find attractive. I didn't mention white people in general (although certain of the above categories certainly include Caucasians) because I tend to find other sub-groups of white more hit or miss.

For instance, tall blonde Scandinavian women do nothing for me. Tall blonde Scandinavian men don't in general, but there have been exceptions. I mention tall blonde Scandinavians because they are generally considered to be particularly attractive people, but while I don't see anything wrong with them, they just don't do anything for me.

Having said that, I do tend to like Asian women more than any other kind. I was actually just thinking about this today, I think it's because I tend to like sweet/cute women more than I like the blatantly "hot" women, not that I'm opposed to blatant hotness

I'm quite capable of finding girls of any race attractive, but I'd say I was probably a touch more attracted to asian girls. To be honest, I like a girl to look a little different, and considering that pretty much every girl I meet is caucasian, being of a different race helps. That said, girls from asian families seem to be fairly sheltered more often, which doesn't really go well with some of my interests.

I'm a little more likely to be attracted to women with lighter skin, and I tend to be a little bit more attracted to them, regardless of what "race" they are. I like all kinds of people and I can find attractive qualities in pretty much anyone, regardless of race, age, even gender. I don't know why I'm like that. Darker-skinned women just don't "do it for me"/"get me going" as much as others.

Well, I?m a black heterosexual male, and I like attractive females of all races, except my own. I dunno why. Maybe they remind me of my sister or something. I mean, yeah, there have been exceptions, but that?s all they are: exceptions. It might also be because I?ve grown up in a predominantly white area, and additionally, the media doesn?t seem to include black girls as part of their beauty ideal, and if they do, more often than not, they?re either mixed-race, light-skinned, or otherwise have mostly ?white? characteristics.

I?d say I?m mostly attracted to white women, then Asian women, then Latino women. I?ve only ever dated white girls (and they?ve all been quite tall, taller than me). I don?t have any kind of hair colour preference, though, although ginger girls are nice (their freckles are cute), as well as girls with pixie cuts, or curly hair.
