Well most girls that I have ever gone on dates are are fairly independant, or value the idea of not living off anothers back. For that reason I usually pay for about 3/4, because I'm so dang nice.

No matter how bad the date goes, I'll always pay the bill. It's just my sense of "honour/chivalry" I guess. ( Call me old fashioned )...

Then again, if it was going TERRIBLE and I mean, she might murder you, then I'd take the bathroom window everytime...( Joking, ofcourse...or am I? )

I always pay, it's just the way I'm programmed. Dam my father and his chivalrous imprinting - half the reason why I wait for girls to ask me out if I'm honest, otherwise I'm opening myself up to some expenditure.

Stupid when you think about it; although for the most part I like having the old gentleman traits, helps set me apart from the riff raff. Indeed.

Hehe, "dating". That's such an American thing.
Frankly the whole concept is so forced and awkward I don't know how you can stand it.
It's easier to do trivial things when not suffocating on our smugness.
That would have been witty if it made sense.

I'll admit I phrased it rather smugly, but I'm just being honest. Dating is creepy. It's essentially conducting formal job interviews to decide who is best suited to be your mating partner. How is that fun or romantic at all?

My sense of chivalry would make me feel obligated to pay.
This, although I would NOT pay if they intentionally ordered something last minute or something expensive, there IS a line. But normally I would pay and get it over with.
