Poll: Question i pose to you

I really want to buy a hack and slash for my 360 but I dont konw which one to pick.

I have always been fascinated with The Divine Comedy and the 9 circles of hell. When I heard that it was being made into a game I was really excited to see the scenery and the way they would interpret the levels of hell and I am really looking forward to seeing the game as a whole. However I really dont know if there is any replay value to the game other than to beat the higher difficulties.

However Bayonetta looks like fun and pretty ridiculous and I know there are other costumes and things to unlock but I am not nearly as interested in the scenery or the story, and I know the voice actint can be pretty dumb.

So ya, whay do yall think? And if anybody know what kind of extra content there is in Dantes Inferno can you message me or just post it? Thanks.

Also, you shoudl know wthat, from what I've heard, they pretty much ditch the story from the poem very quickly.

Its not the story but just the atmosphere and the descriptions of the 9 layers of hell. I have always been fascinated with the afterlife. Also, I didnt mean this to be a VS therad. I just want peoples points of view. If this is in the wrong forum can someone move it?

Why isn't there a "neither" option? It would get my vote. Honestly, Dante's Inferno (the game) isn't worth all the hype they produced for it. Didn't you see ZP? And, for what it's worth, Bayonetta didn't look all that good either.

Anyway, if i HAD to choose, i'd choose Bayoneta. Its a decent game (apparently) and story and atmosphere can only last a bit before it dies....

I too love The Divine Comedy. I would certainly suggest Dante's Inferno. Although the story itself deviates from the poem (but not by the length some would have you believe), Hell itself is represented spectacularly.

Male hormones aside, if you've read The Divine Comedy, than Dante's could be more alluring than about a witch you're not familiar with. Besides, it IS a hack & slash. Bayonetta is a bang & boom.

At least that's what I'm suggesting.

Dante's Inferno gets my vote as I completed the demo for it, while Bayonetta bored me to tears before I even got halfway through.

After playing both demos, I find that Dante's Inferno is fun for me. Bayonetta's demo was just boring.

Dante's Inferno as Bayonetta can only be described as a visually tormenting and mind boggling assault on the player. The fact that the protagonist of Bayonetta conceals revolvers in her boots and all the other oddities were enough to send my drunken mind into a catastrophic nausea. It may play better when sober but I'm not brave enough to find out.
