Poll: Racial Attraction. Who are you attracted to?

I'm caucasion. Any culture (and therefor race) can have a beautiful/sexy girl that I'm attracted to physically. But as I have gotten older, I find that people polerize to the cultures their parents are from. I see eye to eye better with somebody from my own culture and therefor are attracted mentally and emotionally to my own race. You youngin's will probably find that its similiar in your lives...or atleast amoungst your peers.

I have always had a thing for French or Irish women. But then again...I have always had a thing for Chinese/Japanese women too. Never been with one however, and now I'm married off (To a french bloodlined girl). A shame about the asian oriental thing...but ahwell.

This. And I have no idea why, but skin colour or racial background can be a turn-off for me. I have friends of different races, but I find it hard to be attracted to people of other races.

I don't think I have any defining preference, I'm mostly into Caucasian though, being one myself. Don't know why though, but really, I'd hit it no matter the race.

I generaly find girls with slightly darker skin more attractive, meaning latina, or most of the aboriginal girls in my area, who are, in my opinion, possibly the prettiest race i've seen.

Physically... huh... Y'know, I have no idea whatsoever. Pretty much any given race has their high points and low points as far as that's concerned.

I will admit that if you act like a complete caricature of your race at all times, acting specific ways only because the media tells you to and proving exactly why stereotypes are able to exist, I will undoubtedly find such people much less attractive.

I could go like the others and say "it doesn't matter", but I have to admit that black people are an absolute turn-off. No, I don't hate them, I just can't see myself being attracted to a black person (which sounds racist, I know, but I'm not trying to be).

I have a few preferences. Caucasian, Asian, and some Latino. African / African American typically doesn't do it for me (can't say why for sure). Some mixes are okay too.

Can I assume fat is not counted in this? Because if it is, if the girl is heavier than me, I back out of that one. Suppose it is partially a fear of being crushed and a need to be the slightly larger/taller one of the two of us.

Anyone who says that they have absolutely no preference is probably engaged in a round of wishful thinking. It's totally natural to be repelled, even if only slightly, by people who don't look like the race you think of as your own. If you grew up in a perfectly mixed-race society, you may think of everyone as your own race and actually have no preference. For most people, however, this isn't the case.

I've only ever dated within my "race" which is white but I do find black and asian women attractive. For black women I really like either coffee cream coloured or so black it's purple, skin tones. For asians I'm generally easy going heh.

Although don't take this as racist, but in my experience whenever I see a black guy with a white woman I almost always question the guys taste, as they seem to love picking the moose.

I am only really attracted to my own race for the simple reason of cultural differences, I am sure there are non white girls out there who are third+ generation and are completely Canadian, but I would still find families from non western / European backgrounds off putting, and blacks, are well black in general, there are many exceptions. It is not the appearance so much as the culture associated.

I honestly dont tend to find black women attractive, no hurt inttended. I've only ever been with white girls but i live in N.Ireland so yea. I love asian women however.

however, the closest relationship i ever had was with an british girl, and i do have an interesting habit of relating to european women really well.
