RAGE 2

Metro Exodus

So my friends, last month E3 2 really really impressive SP FPS revealed. and both are coming out next year 2019. which one you think looks better?

imo they both looks excellent. like amazing. RAGE 2 will definitely have better shooting and movement because id software are master when it comes to shooting mechanics but atmosphere and story will be better in Metro Exodus because no one can make better atmosphere than 4A games today.

so my friend which one you think will be better game overall?

Oh great days are back again. I was just wondering this AM why we haven?t seen a B-Cell thread in almost a week, and here it is.

On topic, I like the post processing and technical presentation of Rage 2, but for general aesthetics and art style I would have to go with Metro: Exodus. Still too early to say definitively though. I really hope they?ve (4A still?) improved in the animation and ragdoll department since their last outing more than anything. It?s sad when a rather obscure, lower budget and unoptimized game like Cryostasis still puts them to shame.

Instead of posting still image screenshots, you should have shown actual video gameplay footage:

And I gotta go with Metro, they at least consitantly delivered on graphical quality.

Rage 2 looks like it can downgrade any moment now.

The game that doesn't take itself seriously and may have any number of fun guns and power things, vs the tedious slogging "gritty" game with generic MMS guns to play with.

I don't have any real lofty expectations for Rage (certainly the prospect of Avalanche mixing with Bethesda is terrifying on a technical performance level, even with iD mixed in there), but just conceptually alone its more likely to capture my interest.

That said, I've always found shooters and open world games more fun as co-op experiences, and there's not really a shortage currently in the field, so odds of either being more then a sale buy are pretty low.

Gonna try Metro when I can, because I always go with whatever can give me even a hint of S.T.A.L.K.E.R like gameplay. Rage, I was not as invested in the series/experience as much.

Neither? They both look like boring, generic 'next gen' FPS trite. I'll give Metro credit that those scripted sequences had nice backgrounds and there was a train, so that was neat. Rage 2 looks utterly generic and dull, forgetting the best part of Rage 1 was the card game.

Metro 2033 was one of the most original game released in 2010. hardly generic

Rage 2? what is so generic about it? its mad max mixed with Doom. and looks much better than borderlands.

Isn't this exactly like the last "best FPS of E3" thread you made, only reduced to two options?

Anyway, no idea. Neither of them look particuarly appealing to me.

For both being post-apocalyptic settings, the kind of variety of scenery in Rage 2 looks more appealing IMO.

Is there a stylized FPS-JRPG? I just got curious for some reason...

Only thing I came up with is something called Demon Gaze for the Vita. Apparently it's a JRPG with first person dungeon-crawling.

more fun than playing girly JRPG with terrible girly music.

Riight, have you even played a jrpg before? probably not, since its "girly" and you only like to play as gruff, hyper muscled men. Might i suggest bulletstorm then? You play as a gruff, shooter guy (you're favouite type) and it actually has colors that aren't grey or brown, it might give you some visual variety for a change

Bulletstorm was pretty good game. despite having regen health and was too linear. it was good fun game.

the reason i hate JRPG beacuse they are too animu and girlish and has bad turn based combat system. but i respect JRPG fans.

For japanese first-person dungeon crawling I'd probably try some of the 3DS options like Etrian Odyssey series or Persona Q. Thanks anyways.

For the FPS-JRPG, probably it would be easier if I modded Doom 2 to have Persona enemies or something...

Its not JRPG, but stylized FPS try XIII. Its like an FPS comic book that takes place in a comic book.
