I've played all the campaigns on L4D, why would I need to play something that is nothing more than an expansion pack to it.
It doesn't feel like an expansion pack. It feels like a legitimate sequel.

My only complaint with the demo is that it is short (but then again it is a demo, so that's to be expected). But otherwise it's fucking awesome. I love all the new additions to the game.
I can't imagine anything a second Hoard Game could bring that couldn't just be added to the first one.

Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about. What's a "second hoard game"?

And anyone who still says Left4Dead 2 is not a legitimate sequel just wants to be bitter. With all the game play footage that was released, it was hard to deny that there didn't appear to be significant differences between L4D2 and L4D. Now that the demo is actually out, almost everyone who has played has agreed that it is not just an expansion.

I didn't wait up for it...but I did give it a go today. It does seem like a worthwhile sequel, I certainly enjoyed it while it lasted...which wasn't long...damn jockey.

Oh yeah they can be really annoying. One killed me right at the end of an Expert Campaign. It was hiding inside the safe room.

That's sneaky. It was not so clever with me. It grabbed me out in the open, nobody bothered to follow as we strolled off into the distance. I tried to add you on steam by the way...said you didn't exist.

Apprently my friend says the demos easy, he got it for pre-order and did it on Expert within the first hour, only problem is melee weapons replace pistols, meaning no ones is going to use them as pistols own.

Hearing that's kind of got me less interested in it.

Machete > Pistols. Seriously.

Too true. If your surrounded by the horde, any of the melee weapons are better than shoving and shooting.

I've played the demo about 15 times now, and i could still go in for a few more times. The weapons all have their own feel to them, i love the new Boomer Bile projectile, and hitting zombies with a frying pan hasnt gotten old yet.

Short story, it feels like a great sequel to the original.

I intend to play it come Nov 3. As of now I'm just pissed that I preordered from Amazon and even though I'm definitely getting the game, my privileges aren't equal to those who preordered ten yards down the internet. Bastards.

I haven't myself played the demo.

But I have no intention of waiting for it on the edge of my seat. I'll just go play something fun.

Or maybe, in the area of Not-so-fun, I'll try ODST.
